Coming back to life just to convey a message she already left for Iso in his fire tome is impossible, not to mention unnecessary. Shanice transferring its emotions into a staff is also sketchy at best. Its first choice is always sex, not whatever those motives would be, and it wasn't so injured that it couldn't transform or it wouldn't have escaped in the first place.
