Dark Sage
Welcome to the 8 bit Theater Fanclub! Feel free to post anything here, as long as it has at least a slight bearing to 8 bit theater. Post fanfics, fanart, talk about the comics, the advice columns, or any other of Brian Clevinger's works. Have fun! :P :D

riariadne
Me neither. But I do like 8-bit theater and find it somewhat fun to read, so yeah.
Dark Sage
Hey, there's other things you can do here besides quoting things. Read the first post. Oh yeah, in one of the fanart topics on the NPF, there's apparently fanart of the Thief x Red Mage pairing.
Original Alear
Hmm. This reminds me of a blog post the author of the comic (Brian Clevinger?) wrote once on the Pasta Pot Pro Cooker (advertised once on Cartoon Network). But it seems like he doesn't keep a full archive of his blog entries because I couldn't find it on his site. It probably is at least 7 years old. Original Alear
Boatdoken! Fighterdoken! ...I like swords. My favorite character is Doctor Swordopolis: EDIT-It is the first time I have ever found a sword to be an object of affection. Parrhesia
Red Mage gloating about beating the sin of Pride. Classic. The Armoire of Invincibility was great, too. As was Blackbelt's death
Dark Sage
Yeah when I watched Black Belt die in 8 bit theater Chaos, well...

Dark Sage
Anyone has some fanart here? Oh yeah, I figured out all the alignments of the 8 bit theater characters. Fighter: Neutral Good Black Mage: Chaotic Evil Thief: Neutral Evil Red Mage: True Neutral
Parrhesia
Is Fighter even smart enough to be anything besides N? XD
Original Alear
Is Fighter even smart enough to be anything besides N? XD Is he even smart enough to be neutral? I dunno about DND alignments but in the real world a "neutral" position is usually one informed by an understanding of the pro/con or whatever. I feel like he would have to understand that laws, cultural norms etc exist in order to have some kind of alignment relating to them. Parrhesia
Well, an animal with 1-2 Int is automatically TN. Can Fighter crest the mighty heights of THREE Int? Joking aside, yeah, those alignments look right. White Mage would also be NG, I guess.

Joking aside, yeah, those alignments look right. White Mage would also be NG, I guess. Fighter must have an Int of 3, as lower Int characters are unsuitable for use as PCs. I also believe speech requires an Int of 3, and I think Classes require Int of 3, so yeah...
Original Alear
You guys are impressive founts of knowledge, knowledge that I will rely on further discussions of DND alignments of very stupid characters. Severian's geekiness stat increased by !!!!!1111oneone!!! ... Severian's charisma fell by one... Edited April 3, 2010 by SeverIan
Dark Sage
White Mage would have to be Lawful Good. Same with Black Belt. Fighter's a really nice guy who always wants to do good, but is hampered by his teammates. He's also too stupid and naive to realize his teammates are...morally objectionable. I'd say Fighter has an intelligence of 6. He's not completely stupid, but he's still quite dumb.
