Killer Poleax
in the original artworks, most of the beorc characters are pictured with one of their starting weapons. in Pelleas' OA he's holding what looks like a light tome but he can't use light so it's probably a thunder tome Calill, Soren, Bastian, Ranulf and Sanaki start with the most weapons/items: 4 each there are 25 female playable characters. of those 25, 19 are beorc and 6 are laguz. of the 19 beorc girls: only 1 has thunder affinity only 2 can use bows only 3 can use axes 4 have 8 Con 5 use lances as their primary weapon 6 can use staves 7 can't join the GM/Apostle's army team until part 4 8 start with vulneraries 9 have mounts, Canto and 9 move at 3rd tier 10 don't give a +avoid support bonus Tibarn's the only character with 10 move without Celerity and/or Boots Edited May 20, 2010 by Killer Poleax
VincentASM
It's so hidden I honest-to-God can't find it from the RD page, only the quizzes.Seriously, help me out here. >> No, it's my fault. I haven't linked to it from the RD page yet ^^;;; in the original artworks, most of the beorc characters are pictured with one of their starting weapons.in Pelleas' OA he's holding what looks like a light tome but he can't use light so it's probably a thunder tome Thunder tome would probably make the most sense. When I was hacking, I found a few connections between Pelleas and Thunder magic (for instance his Archsage class is labelled ARCHSAGE_T, with the T standing for Thunder). When I was hacking, I found a few connections between Pelleas and Thunder magic (for instance his Archsage class is labelled ARCHSAGE_T, with the T standing for Thunder). so maybe he was originally planned to be a thunder archsage but they changed him to dark cause they had no dark playables? Tibarn and Naesala start with the most/max (6) skills but their capacities are nowhere near full every non-mounted unit has Shove. when Mist promotes, Shove is replaced with Canto Edited May 20, 2010 by Killer Poleax

Guest Goldie
Apparently staff. I watched "Ashera's Judge Collection" and I didn't see any extras. Note that the order she uses the Judges is the same as the order I listed. She did seem to use Deghinsea's Judge twice. The two Judges that display battle animations are probably Ashera's Silence and Paralyse Judges - in-game, they're used to cause status effects, but if you use the raw items, it seems they just function as weapons (they are coded as regular Strikes). Although, during 3:37, you see Deghinsea's Judge stats. I said that it had 0 Weight, but do weapons have a minimum Weight of 1, just like they have a minimum Might of 1? EDIT Yeah, Lekain's Judge is a staff. I know it's a little late, but you're right.. I accidentally used Dheginsea's Judge twice. You can also notice I try to attack when switching to the staff Judges which Ashera has no rank in. I'm glad I went to this thread, I now know what those in-battle Judges were! Here's an unknown fact, maybe.. well I'm sure the mods already know - but Renning can actually use Amiti! However, it being locked to Elincia prevents him from using it. Or was that just forcing it to work and only Elinica + Renning can use it normally.

Nope, that was me giving other units the hidden skill that lets them use Amiti.. only Elincia and Renning have that skill normally though.
Kinata
I'm pretty sure there was a discussion about that a while ago, where we were thinking that Renning could use it plotwise because of Amiti's ingame description. No one thought that that was actually programmed into the game since there was no reason to, but I guessed the creators were really careful. Fun fact: IIRC, Lekain's silence judge is superior to his master's, since only his is guaranteed to hit everyone. I guess perfect silence magic can only be imbued in a staff, which is why Ashera can't use her power at its full potential. Correct me if I'm wrong. Ive have had some units not get silenced (Mainly ones with ridiculous res.) Is it possible he means that it reaches all the targets? I have no idea, since I've never actually let Ashera get to her turn 5, nor would I have any units at the edge of the map if I did. Anyway, I agree. I'm fairly certain I've had Lekain fail to silence multiple units. Mainly Micaiah. 32+ res and not being near him (if distance means anything for Lekain's multi-target silence) helps a lot. Killer Poleax
Edward, Leonardo and Jill start with the minimum strength needed to not lose any AS from using their iron weapons. base level Fiona loses 1 AS from a non-forged iron lance Gatrie starts 1 HP from his cap (why?) Ranulf and Skrimir (and Tibarn if you count that one attack) are the only characters that fight Zelgius as Zelgius, not the BK Edited May 21, 2010 by Killer Poleax

I think the answer might be slightly simpler, which is Lekain has more Magic (35) than Ashera (15). This is going off FE9's staff accuracy formula. {30 + [(Magic - enemy's Resistance) x 5] + Skill} - (Distance between units x 2) Actually, let me plug in the numbers. Assuming an enemy with 0 Resistance and no separated distance: Lekain has 233 hit, while Ashera has 145 hit (88 less).
ReformBlade
Sanaki has the highest chance to gain a perfect level among all the characters (0.0029106 % chance), followed by Nolan (0.00190512%), then Elincia (0.0017199%), then Vika (0.001711125%).
