Life
Wait, Life how did you troop count hit 200 from 250? I started with 200. Shot myself in the foot a bit but I'll be fine. I'll still probably beat all of you guys. That reminds me. Recruitment is 100 guys in a real day which is 50 every other game day. Core, mind knocking 50 guys off your roster? Life
Question, Is there anything wrong with editing our logs as long as the day hasn't ended? I'd prefer that you only edit your logs for spelling purposes. Mostly since I do that.

Deliriyum
Can we have set times for each day? For example, the days would be 4-10AM EST 10-4PM EST 4-10PM EST 10-4AM EST That way we aren't always waiting for you.
Life
No, you have that a bit wrong. I don't start the days. Hell, I can fall behind myself. The point is that each person's game day is 6 hours long.

No weapons. (yes, bad joke, I know) Projects: Claiming the nearby land - 6 days Scouring the City - 4 days Searching for mines - 6 days Searching for wood - 6 days LOGS: Celeste: I woke up today, the sound of the blast still ringing in my ears. I think it was a dream, hoped it was a dream, but when I opened my eyes; here I was again. Back in the real world. Back in this hellhole of a town! I don't recognize where I am still. The people here say it's in Africa; and I can't help but think of the desert where my husband is stationed. I don't even know I how got here. All the way from Nutmeger land to this place. I can see the ruins of a city through the window in my room. What happened? Did the Japs have some type of deathray? Something from those drive-in theater movies that they used? I don't know. The people look to me for guidance for some reason. I think it's because I'm the only one with clean clothes here; not that it matters. Everything here is destroyed, gone. Am I the only one it didn't touch? Already, some people are scouring the city, looking for anything they can use. Meanwhile, others claim that others went out to look about; see what the land is like. I don't know these people, and am I so scared! All I can think about is John. Where is John? Is he safe? Why hasn't this destruction touched me?

Estimated 4 days 25 building an HQ. Estimated 8 days 10 scouting region. Estimated 7 days 50 patrolling claimed territory. Indefinite 30 searching for mines. Estimated 6 days 10 drinking the last of the vodka and singing like idiots in the burned out cafe. Estimated 6 hours Total of 200/7500 Arms: Combat knives, and any blunt objects they could find. Projects: Expanding territory. 7 days. Searching for mines. 6 days. Constructing main base. 8 days. Searching for food. 4 days. LOGS: General Zukov: With a brilliant flash of light goes the great motherland. Perhaps we should have seen this coming. Doesn't matter. We must rebuild speedily, or we will be crushed underfoot in the coming days. It is very unlikely that we are alone in what is left of eastern Europe. We must be cautious, defense minded, and highly efficient for the moment. The men have been given their tasks and will complete them on schedule. I'm not sure what to do about the idiots at the cafe. Normally I'd stop them, but the world has changed overnight. It may be too cruel to separate them from the booze and force them to work like dogs before they're ready. The idiots still haven't found any live horses. The trailblazers have been given semaphore flags and training, as we've also lost our radio equipment. Tried to organise our weapons and armour. Our knives are rusted and warped, so we're mostly using our guns as clubs. Some people are making fire-hardened wooden spears, but practically nobody remembers the bayonet drills. So they're almost as useless as the clubs. Armour isn't much better...the lucky ones have stiff uniforms, the rest have vests and shirts, or are even shirtless. Private Whitley doesn't even have pants. I sent him on sentry duty. The city we ended up in is mostly destroyed, but we're rebuilding however we can. Apparently this was a city in the Ivory Coast; 'Abidjan'. Kind of a mouthful, but an excellent defensive location.

We are slowly gaining a foothold in the local area, and are finding more survivors of our former army. As expected, not much has survived in the ruins of the zoo. For now, we're subsisting on some of the hardier reptiles and cockroaches. All in stride. Soldiers have reported hearing some roars in the zoo ruins, this will be investigated further come morrow. Convinced a few more leprechauns to aid our cause, and we finished up our rafts, along with gettin' around 200 pieces of wood (50 of which were used in the rafts along with our original wood supply). Africa is the home of... those people. I finally noticed today as I took a glance outside my window. Previously, my eye has always been upon the line of ruined buildings outside my home; but today there was a minor squabble among the collectors which drew my attention away from the rough cityscape and it was then that I noticed. And yet I am not scared. Just the opposite. Went I outside even to resolve the matter. As I did so, I could not help but think of the gas attendent back home who would always rush to clean the window of my car. Tobi, I think his name was. He was a nice man; but different. Too different for me to feel anything for. These people call themselves the Ember. Why, I do not know. According to them, they are like the coals of a dying fire; the cooling ember of humanities flame. Like I do not the name. I said they should change it to something like 'New Connecticut', but they just laughed. I remember reading a book recently that contained a line that describes my situation perfectly. 'Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore'.

It seems that a group of tigers are the cause. For now we will leave them in their enclosure, as we have no way to combat them should they choose to be aggressive. We will have to develop weapons if we hope to do something about these animals and we need arms anyway. Unfortunately this will have to wait until we find a mine or source of minerals, as rocks will not do. Besides this we have secured the area and are expanding further. What food we have is running low. We need a source, and we need it fast. But, if we get through this, I can't help but wonder... If this catastrophe is worldwide, as I assume it to be, then every major army should be gone or severely weakened. If we move quickly and compose ourselves, is it possible that we can unite the world? It is an appealing thought. But for now, no more than a dream. Shahryar out.
