Be smart with your unit positioning, and you'll have quite a bit of time before someone eats it. Besides, you can sacrifice my two. ;) From Chapter 4, here's a list of non-gaiden people that are recruited by visiting a village: Merric Ban-Ban Linde Jeorge Beck Samson/Arran By character: Merric - Walk to his village, darnit! It's between Marth and the boss Ban-Ban - It will take extra turns to get out of that alcove, so it doesn't matter Linde - Make a clause that she must survive the chapter (otherwise, it's possible to recruit her on turn 1, let her die, then finish the chapter with a lower turn count) Jeorge - Even if Marth is warped to his village, it will take extra turns to get from the village to the throne Beck - Warp turn 2 or later (I need to verify this) Samson/Arran - They still take extra turns Other villages/chapters of importance (Thoron is not important): Chapter 5 (for whoever recruited Bantu) Chapter 10 (Maria/Minerva) Chapter 11 (warp Caeda for Jake) Chapter 19 (so it doesn't take forever to recruit Tiki) Chapter 20 (for whoever recruited Lena) Chapter 22 (for whoever wants to skip 24x and get Gotoh) By chapters: Chapter 5 - Doesn't matter when Marth is warped; the turn count isn't going to drop because of it. Chapter 10 - I'd allow warping Marth to the prison cell. . .however, I'm not certain what Minerva's AI will do if Marth opens the door closest to the prison. Regardless, he has to deal with that Hero, and if he's not at a decent level, he'll get WTFPWNED. Chapter 11 - Same situation as Linde (same clause, maybe?) Chapter 19 - I'd allow Warping Bantu turn 5 or later. Chapter 20 - It doesn't matter when Marth is warped; you're still taking extra turns. Chapter 22 - Warp turn 2 or later (just. . .trust me on this) Chapters with treasure: Chapter 6 - the Thieves open it for you ;) Chapter 9 - the Thief takes too long, so Warp someone to get that chest on the same turn Marth seizes Chapter 10 - maybe Warp on the same turn Marth seizes? It's possible to get that chest without Warp, but the person who opens that chest will be in a lot of danger. Chapter 12 - the only chest I'd allow it for is the one the General's blocking, and only on the turn Marth seizes (otherwise, you'll mess up me and Horace, as we've already done our runs without Warping) Chapter 14 - plenty possible to get this one and maintain turn count Chapter 15 - I'd allow it, because Gharnef is guarding those chests Chapter 17 - I'd allow it, because those chests will never be opened otherwise Chapter 17x - it's possible (but extremely hard) to get everything Chapter 19 - perhaps prohibit it for the Starsphere chest (with everything else being fair game, as long as Marth is not warped)? Chapter 20x - it's possible, and not particularly difficult to get everything Chapter 24 - Warp on the same turn Marth seizes Chapter 24x - completely unnecessary I think about these things too much. . . 2. Shopping - Wish I knew that earlier (fortunately, shopping didn't affect my run too much this time 'round). I avoided certain decent units like Jeorge and Minerva because of this. We have already completed the draft with the presumption that no warping would be allowed. However, since it is not my draft, I can't make the rules. Chapter 16 6/100 Turns Easy chapter, because Frey is absolutely ridiculous. Anyway, he killed the two heros, and Vyland withstood a hit from a poleax dracoknight, and everyone rushed thru Xane's prison. Frey also killed Hollstadt. Chapter 17 3/103 Turns Easy chapter is easy. Also, that dude with the Silver Lance on Chapter 6 is good for killing off extras. Hope missing the SR doesn't foul you up! I find that they're the most important stat booster in this kind of run. Chapter 14 Linde to Cleric, Astram to Warrior. Wolf and Julian went to the right, everyone else down the centre. Jiol took 2 turns because Abel missed one Armourslayer shot, so Marth finished him off. 7 turns. Early promoted Cord, Gordin and Vyland. Reclassed Cord to general to help hold off the Paladins so that Caeser and my mages wouldn't die. Chapter 20x I really didn't feel like doing this chapter. Oh well. Caeser and Catria got lots of exp. Got some chests, was too lazy to get others. Don't really need anything else. I don't really know what the tourncount was, it was around 15. Chapter 21 3/121 Turns Jagen flew to the secert shop with the silver card, and bought everything. Frey used Gradivus to kill everything. Marth ran for the throne, and got hit by a mage. First time he's been attacked in a while. Frey killed everything. Chapter 24 5/139 Turns Frey WTFpwned the boss on turn one, and then cleared a way for Marth to get to the throne. Chapter 24x I don't need anyone other than Frey to win, so he killed everything so I could finish my run quicker. Got Nagi, I guess. Endgame 4/143 Gave statboosters, (aka made Frey uber) He rushed Medeus, and killed him with the Gradivus. Yay, 7 turns better than my last run. I'll get stats up in a minute. EDIT: Actually, I don't give a damn, so i'll just post Frey's. Opinions on all my units: MARTH: Was pretty damn good earlygame, but once Abel and Wolf picked up, didn't too much at all. ABEL: Was pretty much god. Higher Defense and Strength would have been appreciated, but he 2RKO'd Medeus, so I can't complain. JEIGAN: Staffbot. Kept a shitload of people alive. OGMA: Extremely frail, but was there when it mattered. High Strength too. BORD: Kinda horrid. IMO, his biggest contribution was his Hammer. JULIAN: Thanks for the treasure bro. WOLF: This guy would have been better than Abel... if he could fly. Had to keep him as a Hero as an alternative. Still a beast though. ROGER: Why did I recruit you again? MINERVA: Hauteclere was pretty clutch, as was Sniper!Minerva. Probably took too long to recruit though >_> LINDE: Even more of a glass cannon, but holy shit she was good at OHKOing things.
