Where Lakche and Ayra and Shanan will slice you into 20 pieces just for wearing red. Thracia SMs are almost as insane, hindered only by the universal caps of 20 except HP. It's not their fault that SMs are made to be attractive. Of course girls want to marry them! Because they're attractive! That's not overrating. That's personal taste in men---or women, for the fanboys. Character design is everything. And tell me that Rutger is not insane. Dude can get to 109 crit. Have fun dodging that. There's a reason why he's top tier in FE6. Not to mention Fir can be almost as insane when trained, and Karel comes with good-to-go stats if Rutger and Fir both somehow get screwed. +30 Crit is not to be messed with, especially in a game where swords will hit you. Accurately. And it will hurt. I'll give you that they aren't that great in FE7 and 11. But in FE12 Hard modes, you want that 30 SPD cap. Or you gonna get doubled. And enemies hit HARD. And your 30 DEF is going to do crap against their 50 ATK if they gonna hit you twice. And dodging Gorgons is a very good thing to do in FE8. Dont get me wrong, I do like em, but not to that extent. That's Genealogy actually. And for what it's worth, I don't want to marry Navarre. Heck, you should know my favorite FE girl isn't even an SM.
