I use both. Guy is a beast though. I'm very partial to pretty much every sword-master. Who isn't Lucia or Fir or Marisa. Not sexist just Josh, Rutger, and Eddie are ten times better and come earlier. And Lucia sucks. Also Dorcas wins in FE7 because his avalibility beats Bartre's slightly better stats and Bartre is annoying

Characters usually are better when you feed them all the kills and BEXP.

Characters are generally better when they have great stats and plenty of EXP to take advantage of because the only people I use all Db chapters are eddie, Brolan, and Aran (of course Micky and Sothe too). So there is a shit ton of EXP ready for Eddie. In the early chapters when he's fragile Leo and Micky just chip for him. His growths are so good he catches up in no time. Plus he pairs very well with either Brolan, Volug or Aran. I choose Nolan because they work well together and Eddie's light aff helps Nolan too. Edward is a great character.
