I'm actually kinda liking the new psychedelic rock/pop/folk music that's emerging lately. And China is finally developing it's own underground rock culture, which I could totally be a part of if I wanted to. We didn't have that in the 90s 80s or 70s, amirite? I mean, everyone's forgetting Backstreet boys and shit from the 90s now. So realistically speaking, no one's going to remember ladygaga/justinbeiber/etc. later on.
