WeaponsofMassConstruction Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) So, Kingmaker is a mafia variant, and in it are 5 basic roles: Boring Role: Stock vanilla townie. Except this time, they can't even vote. Generic Enemy Faction: Stock mafia, chooses with their partner(s) who to kill each night. King: The more important town member, and has the sole vote for who gets lynched. When the vote is cast, the targetted player instantly dies, except Hero: If they are a hero, in which case, they deflect the lynching bullets back and kill the king instead. There may or may not be a hero in this game. Kingmaker: Lastly is the kingmaker, who, every night, sends in the name of player who they want to be king and a backup in case that player dies. They may end up promoting a GEF to king, so be careful. In addition, the kingmaker may not ever publicly reveal their role. If the kingmaker dies at any time, a random BR gets promoted to kingmaker. The kingmaker must choose a different king from the previous day until there are 5 or fewer people left. 2. If the king does not vote by the end of the day phase, they are executed by default.
