She is always seen in armour of extremely shiny white, a testimony to her devotion in polishing it everyday in order to keep the dirt out and maintain its presentability as a sign of her family's pride, the dubious luxury of keeping a used armour looking new. In actual fact, it only serves to show her inexperience in battle. She has her long hair braided and tied up to a bun and her fringe pulled back in order to keep her hair away from her eyes and make it hard to grab in battle as taught by her military mentors. The reason why she did not have it outright cut off completely was due to the fact her family might one day require her to look dainty enough with that hair for arranged marriages. Some spellcasters might note her radiating with a strong psychic aura due to her untapped natural affinity for magic. Trusting and 'honourable by the knightly code'. Secretly reads romance stories and tomes on magical theory. Hometown: Europa, Ursium Connections: (Optional: list of people this person knows and their relations with them) Backstory: Mireille is inexperienced with life beyond the 'special' training grounds for noble born military students and her family estate. She is by no means a weak damsel as her father had made sure she was raised with no servants in order to be 'tough enough to bash other soft noble daughters', but she never lived a life with any wants as her family is rich enough to provide her with her basic needs. Hence she may know how to sew her own dress, but not know where to get the needles or thread. Her father was a general from a long line of Ursium military nobility who actually earned his title rather than bribe it through influence or wealth. Taking pride in that, he had vowed to make his first child, whom he had hoped was a son, grow up like him into a strong and brave knight unlike the other typical noble children whom he viewed with disgust. He was disappointed when Mireille was born a girl as he had a conservative and sexist view on people. But neverthless, he would not forsake his earlier vow and enrolled Mireille to one of his personal barracks where other children of nobility were sent to train to be knights or cavaliers. Sadly, the fierce ways of a warrior was not for the gentle girl who aspired to be a mage. She had inherited her mother's disposition for magic, but unfortunately, no one said no to her father. The poor girl thus spent the remainder of her early childhood learning how to carry heavy shields, yet at the same time took lessons on how to act like a proper Ursium lady, learning how to read and write poetry, sing, dance and such. It was a tiring and demanding life, which she complained once to her father, only to recieve a harsh beating. Her only consolation was the only woman knight among her instructors who would empathise with her and give her breaks when she was at her limit. One day, the barrack was stormed by 'bandits' seeking to ransom some noble children. As the barrack was relatively close to the city, no one would have expected such a bold assault which was later investigated to be a kidnapping attempt by some noble families, for which the issue has yet to be resolved as the family involved have yet to be proven guilty. On that fateful day, most of the instructors were away on an important meeting, leaving the lady knight who empathised with Mireille to defend the place with a few soldiers. She stood her ground and fought hard to buy enough time for messengers to get rescue, finally succumbing to her wounds just as the cavalry arrived. Moved by such a heroic display, Mireille no longer detested her training and instead squeezed every moment of it in order to honour the lady knight's death. Her father was pleased by this change of attitude of hers pleased her father, who all too happily stopped all her other studies on being a lady to let her focus on being a knight. Although she told herself that she wanted to be a brave knight, not like her father, but rather the knight who she now admired, she could never lie to her soul, which loathed living a lie. Currently, her father had sent her to serve under Seth Weyland in hopes that such an act would garner him some priority for rights to obtain his future patents. Mireille, being the dutiful daughter obeyed her father and moved to Europa. She has yet to recieve any direct orders thus far and spent all her free time reading the many tomes in the University there as well as sneaking into some lectures. Little does she know that all her training might be put to the test, and that she would regret not pressuring her father to let her learn the ways of mage hard enough... When dressed for battle, Tipheret wears heavy plates of black rust* armor over a chain shirt. Her full faced greathelm features two curved blades which jut out behind the wearer's head like antennae, designed to deflect the occasional swing of a weapon and to inspire intimidation in those who see it. She wears a gorget (Steel and leather collar) to protect her throat, circular defences designed to protect the armpits as part of the harness of her plate armour, and faulds of metal surrounding the hips in a form similar to a skirt. Powerful gauntlets encase her fists and forearms, and her legs and feet are protected by metal greaves. * Black iron is also called "black rust" as opposed to red rust. Tipheret became a page at age seven, serving under her father and learning obedience, manners, and other skills. Her mother versed her in lessons of Equestrianism, and her grandfather tutored her in blacksmithing. Between the three, Tipheret's education was swift and absolute. Still, becoming a knight was not a widely attainable goal. The job was just nearly impossible, especially for those from the lowest class. Along with the fighting elements of war, there were many customs and rules to be followed as well. A way of demonstrating military chivalry was to own expensive, heavy weaponry. Horses were also extremely important, and each knight often owned several for distinct purposes. Warriors were not only required to own all these belongings to prove their allegiance: they were expected to act with military courtesy as well. Because of her family's positions, Tipheret fared a better chance than many at being chosen for knighthood. Having been given triple apprenticeship by her own family members, Tipheret's peers regarded her as spoiled and catered. In turn, Tipheret grew ice over her heart and strode with fanatic determination to prove her value through the arts her family gave her. The seasons came and went. When Tipheret turned twenty, she was admitted to her rank in a ceremony called the "Accolade". Although the strong had proved their eligibility, their social status would be permanently controlled.
