Chapter 4: 7/22

Marth/Ogma/Jagen rush to the capital, the rest of the team dies. Caeda buys some Steel Weapons. Julian kills a few enemies, getting decent lvlups with Str included. Skip'd the village. Marth gained ANOTHER RES POINT WTF! Cain, Abel, Lena, Draug, Barst all died. if there was anyone else other than the 4 living team and shopper caeda, they died too.

Chapter 5: 5/27

Marth/Ogma/Jagen/Julian rush again, but with Sedgar joining up to meet the team at turn 3. Jagen (D.Knight) 2x hits the boss, then 2x hits again. Ogma finished, and gained a sweet level. Marth siezed for the win. Caeda forgot to shop...but she was parked next to it...woo hoo. No Firestone either. Vyland died. The rest lived to be bait for Chapter 6.

Chapter 12 - 8/83

Reclassed Castor to Pirate.

This was the Cain show, with everyone else kinda hobbling along after him. He took out one of the beginning armor guys, then got impatient because it took so long to open the door, then baited the Sniper, THEN ran across the map to net me my Boots.

Marth's Important Role was killing the Sniper and the mini-boss/entourage combo with nary but a Steel Sword. He whipped out the Silver Sword to take out the boss. . .and all of this without needing to heal.

Matthis chucked Javelins where he could, Castor smacked a few things with a Hand Axe, and Roshea got a little bit of sniping in. Radd followed the two thieves and killed both of them, then snagged a Javelin and started annoying the reinforcements. Rickard nabbed a couple of chests (missed the Arms Scroll, sadly), and got rid of a healer that would have otherwise ruined my turn count.

Lucky dodges here and there. Athena killed the boss with a Ridersbane.

Ch. 22: 8 turns

Everyone ran up towards the east. Skipped Starlight since I wanna get Nagi. Minerva defeats her brother.

Ch. 23: 8 turns

Ran up the stairs and that was it.

Ch. 24: 5 turns

Skipped along the mountains and Athena killed the boss with a Dragonpike.

Just more stair climbing.

I positioned it so that nobody is on the left side and powered my way to the right.Nagi criticaled Medeus and that's the end.

Overall I did really shitty, since I could've save some turns by reseting until a critical killed the boss in one turn and Marth seizes. But this was more of a casual run, which means I did very little RNG abuse for criticals and none for stat boosts.

Draftees:

Draug: Helpful somewhat in the beginning. Reclasses to Fighter immediately and he redeemed his worth quickly.

Wrys: Healbot the whole game. Shame he didn't even cap out.

Cord: Great earlygame, but really declined near the end due to poor levels.

Darros: Uber tank, but didn't help that much.

Merric: Prime boss killer with Excalibur. Also not too bad at chipping.

Athena: Powerful flier after promotion. Not much would have been possible without her.

Roger: Uber offense, expected of one of my favorite units in the game.

Minerva: Like Dracoknight!Jagen, but with existant growths and A axes. Good for a while, then average.

Samson: Just used him to save, lol.

Chapter 12x - 20

Reclass Castor to Mercenary.

My goal was to level Castor, Rickard, and Radd, while somehow keeping the turn count. Everything worked to perfection. I'd like to get Castor to level 15 by the end of Chapter 15.

Radd's Speed makes me happy, and WTF at Roshea's Luck.

Chapter 13 - 4/87

Castor went south to improve himself as much as he could. Radd and Jagen went north to take out the two Arrowspates. Marth, Cain, Matthis, and Roshea went down the center, to the boss. If I fed Cain the Energy Drop, I would've finished the map a turn sooner.

Recruited Astram, and put him to work.

Chapter 14 - 6/93

I had to do an emergency seize, since Rickard was in grave danger of dying.

Cain and Marth peeled off towards Jiol, Roshea and Jagen pissed off the archers, and everyone else went towards the Silver Card. Due to the earlier snafu with Rickard, I couldn't get the Silver Card. This will make later chapters difficult. Cain pulled a critical on Jiol, which saved the run.

Chapter 15 - 5/98

Reclassed Castor to Hunter. Promoted Cain and reclassed him to Dracoknight.

The dude on the throne went down on turn 3. My bow guys had fun with the enemy Dracoknights. I managed to sacrifice Midia and Jake to Gharnef.

I don't want to promote Castor now, but if I can't do what I want to on the next map, I will.

Chapter 16 - 6/104

Reclassed Castor to Pirate and Astram to Berserker.

This chapter took a long time, because someone or other kept dying. I burned two Door Keys (Marth opened the first door, Radd opened the second one), killed off both Heroes and Xane (thank you Cain), and had Roshea, Castor, and Astram have fun with the guys on Bossland. Cain got bored and killed the boss on the same turn Marth seized.

Chapter 17 - 3/107

Reclassed Castor to Hunter, Cain to Paladin, and Astram to Hero.

This chapter is boring. The only highlights were Marth taking out the boss all by his lonesome and Radd getting my Fortify and VIP Card.

Chapter 6: 6/31

With only 5 people, this was bitchin hard. I managed to complete it in 6 turns, but it did cost me the Psychic (I didn't realize until I saved that I missed it. Basically rushed Marth as fast as possible, he killed maybe 2 things in the process. Ogma killed a few things too, but Julian and Jagen got most of the action. Jagen was reclassed to Paladin so the Archer's didn't smush him. Everyone else stayed the same, for rushing purposes. Did 3 S/Rs to crit the boss, so Marth could sieze on turn 6.

Fricken Hard. I don't reccommend it. I'm still pissed that I didn't get Psychic, but I got the Robe and the Armorslayer...so that'll count for something. At least Ogma and Sedgar can do somethign against bosses.

Speaking of Bosses; I reclassed Sedgar and Jagen to Warrior & Dracoknight for 6x, to get them some Axe proficiency. I'm hoping to have a solid hammer-user by the time I recruit Maria...otherwise, Bossing is going to suck with only Marth being super-effective.

Chapter 6x: 20/31 (Assuming we're not counting Gaidens)

Took my time, and got Sedgar lots of Axe profiency as a Warrior. Messed around and ditched leftover units like Roshea and Hardin and Athena (Free Iron Sword after all)

Chapter 7: 6/37

Mega rush, with lotsa units. Auffle, Rejek, and the others served some uses as fort-blockers. Ended up getting Sedgar a C-rank in Axes on turn 3 when he Hand-axe'd some random dragoon, and he Hammered the boss, along with Jagen's Silver Lance for the win. Jagen has a D-rank in Axes now too, so he'll be my flying Hammer soon. Skipped Bantu's area. Shopped a little too...can't forget that.

Chapter 8: 5/42

Another Mega-rush, this time, using Caeser. He didn't quite catch up with the team. I rushed the others up, like the generics, to block the units that came from the top. Augustus was the only non-teammate that made it through this chapter. Sedgar Hammer'd the boss for 18, and and Ogma armorslay'd him for the win., Marth siezed on turn 5. Caeda bought some Silver Swords, (since I've got a ton of Sword users), a few Steel Axes, and a veritable TON of Vulneraries. I use them to heal, since I'm not using a healer yet. Maria might suffice...but man...I skipped that first Psychic...

Entering Chapter 9 right now. I think I'll skip the Wyrmslayer, unless I rush Jagen to the thief, and let the others take the boss. At least my sword-based army should survive quite well here.

Notes:

1. Unless you want to burn Door/Master Keys, skip the Wyrmslayer. The thief will not get it until turn 6, IIRC.

2. It's Physic, and the last one's on Chapter 10. I hope Julian can wield the Armorslayer.

3. Please check your addition between Chapters 5 and 6.

4. Your gaiden count is just fine!

Chapter 17x - 20

This map was dedicated to the Bow Guys, and whoever else could grab experience/weapon ranks along the way.

Rickard and Matthis ran to grab the Poleax, while Castor and Roshea busied themselves with everything on the left. Finally got to kill off Horace and Some Random Dude. Once I hit the end of that corridor, sent Marth, Radd, and Roshea to murder the boss. Those Paladins give a ton of experience, and I'm very glad I let Castor take the lion's share of it!

Chapter 18 - 6/113

Promoted Castor and reclassed him to Hero. Reclassed Cain to Dracoknight.

When given a choice between Marth and Rapier versus Matthis with Ridersbane, the AI opted for the latter. Cain quietly flew south and killed the boss on turn 5. All my horse-hurtin' weapons saw good use! Even Rickard managed a kill! Matthis had time for one arena round (which he won, of course).

Chapter 19 - 5/118

Marth ran around with the ORKO Sword of Doom (a.k.a. Silver Sword). Cain provided backup. Rickard, Matthis, and Radd went treasure hunting. Roshea managed to kill a thief. Astram was Astram, and Castor was bored. I'm using Physic too fast.

WTF at Marth and Castor being so similar.

Cain killed the ballista, baited and killed Camus, killed Lorenz, then killed the Pachyderm. Everyone else. . .mopped up after him.

Had time to hit the arena for Castor, Matthis, and Rickard. That's how bored everyone was.

My math is terrible. Thanks for making me re-count my turns. I appear to be short...again.

First though;

CHapter 9: 6 turns

Jagen flew over towards the thief, and I rushed the my main team over to the boss, like normal. Kept 4 generics up at the top to bait a few of the pirates. The main problem was getting past the bridge, as having only Sedgar and Jagen for range really blows. Still, made it through just fine. I decided I wanted the Wyrmslayer, and I did buy some spare Vulneraries last chapter. I use them to heal, so I think I might have Maria use the Arms scroll and hopefully promote her before Gharnef. I do want the Wrmslayer, since I don't have much else to beat Manaketes with in preperation for more bosses, like Morzas. Julian nabbed the goods. No shopping.

Seriously though. Marth/Julian/Ogma/Ceasar are confined to swords. (for Maximum Move). Wtf is with that?

Didn't Know that Prologues didn't count, so I rushed them. Dammit, I could've nabbed the Steel Bow

Chapter 10: 12/62

Pain in my ass chapter, having to run through the central fort to get Maria. Took me gawd, an extra 3 turns at least. Hey, I got a badass Hauteclere though when Minerva just HAD TO TALK TO MARTH!

Boss was Silver'd by Jagen and Hammer'd by Sedgar, and Sedgar got a nice lvl (all but res and mag).

Ceasar is tryin to keep up...once he gets a bit more Str though, he'll be fine. He still has 5 str, so the Spd kickdown from Steel Swords is killing him...

Reclassed Cain, Matthis, and Radd to Paladin.

The tower couldn't stand three angry Paladins. The fake Gharnef at the top of the stairs got a taste of Marth's Silver Sword. The reinforcements were too late to do anything.

Chapter 24 - 4/144

Reclassed Cain, Matthis, and Radd to Dracoknight.

The boss died on turn 1 to Matthis and Radd + Silver Lance + Lightsphere (I didn't have a Dragonpike, sue me). Cain took out a Sniper, and two generics and Elice ran east, in the hopes that they'd die. Caeda flew towards the Shop That Mattered.

The rest was my team taking care of leftovers. Marth managed to get a piece of the action!

Turn 1E - Ymir makes a good target for Pachyderm, Bait 1 nearly dies (he dodged the General), Roshea eats a Silver Lance, Bait 2 dies to Manakete, stuff dies on Cain, Bait 3 dies to Javelin and Silver Sword.

Turn 2 - Cain kills a Dracoknight up north, Radd follows, Matthis intercepts the Hero, Ymir kills the Pachyderm, Castor kills the Bishop, Roshea kills the Manakete, Astram Hammers the General, Rickard kills the Hero near him, Nagi takes out the Paladin, Jagen Fortifies again, Marth runs.

Turn 2E - Everything to the north dies to Radd and his Javelin, Bait 1 dies, Ymir becomes a target again, something tries to kill Marth. . .whoops, he has the Levin Sword out!

Turn 3 - Matthis runs further southwest to take out the Manakete hiding in a corner, Ymir finished the General, Castor kills the Levin Sword pest, Astram runs out of the room, Roshea shoots through a wall to get rid of the unit blocking Marth (who does more running), Cain and Radd hit the throne room, Jagen Fortifies, everyone else stands around lost.

Turn 3E - Manakete and Sniper die to Cain.

Turn 4 - Marth hits the northern save point, Castor kills the Bishop reinforcement, Matthis and Ymir team up to kill the Pachyderm, Cain uses Gradivus + Lightsphere to weaken Medeus, Radd takes Gradivus and Lightsphere from Cain to end the map.

Final thoughts:

Marth - Absolutely amazing in the beginning, and kept being amazing until everyone else could catch up. His constantly high Speed meant that he doubled most of the time. Co-MVP of the run.

Jagen - Surprisingly cooperative, which meant that Fortify was all the more effective. I kinda wish I remembered to change him to Sage when he maxed out his staff rank.

Cain - Started out a little slow, but once he got past his initial Speed hurdles, he became unstoppable. He made the later chapters an absolute joke. Co-MVP of the run.

Castor - Took his sweet time to get up and running (like, the entire time he was unpromoted). Once he hit Hero, he didn't look back.

Matthis - Once again, he stomps his averages flat. +2 HP, +5 Skill, +5 Speed, and +3 Defense turned him into mini-Cain. I swear he's one of the most underrated draft picks. . .

Roshea - He remembered how to gain Speed after he promoted. His insane Skill meant that I could use the Longbow with relative accuracy. Kinda wish he was faster in the beginning. Still a Skittle, through and through.

Rickard - I decided to see how he fares as a front-line fighter. He turned out more-or-less average (+3 Luck and lolRES). This means that as long as he keeps to his averages, he's a viable sword unit in Normal. I don't think he'll cut it on anything harder without some serious babying.

Radd - The early Speed blessing was a huge boon, because it allowed him to level that much faster. Tanky as usual. Earned his Skittle distinction.

Macellan - Sorry dude, completely forgot about you.

Astram - His bases were *just* enough to carry him through the game, and he came at just the right time.

Ymir - Good bases, as usual. He really needs to go Hero to make the most of himself.

Nagi - Hi.

Caeda - My faithful shopper.

Tomas - The eternal running joke of my drafts. The guards really suck at hitting him.

Couldn't reclass Jeigan to Draco, so I reclassed Lena to Mage.

All undrafted units that were alive (save Shiida) went towards Wendell to distract him. Jeigan flew over to help out the Wolfguard, Barst + Hand Axe murdered things. Marth ORKO'd the boss on EP, the entire Wolfguard survived. Norne and Lena killed the Thieves for EXP.

Barst's amazing defense helped a lot here as he was able to lure and weaken enemies for Bord on EP. Similiarly, undrafted units were able to lure enemies and let Wolf and Norne kill. Norne hit D Lances, so yay Steels.

Jeigan and Bord took out Minerva and that other Dragoon early, and Barst had to hit the boss twice at 62% for a 6-turn clear, which he did. Norne REALLY sucks.

My frst run had a 8-turn clear and Wolf with no EXP gained, so I didn't deploy any generics. Then I realised the Dracoknights were coming for my main party.

I nearly panicked at first, then I realised I had 2 magic units and Barst ORKO'd both.

Barst continued his boss killing frenzy, Wolf killed a Horseman or two. Not as good as I would have hoped, but he's all set to nuke as a Hero. 9 turns.

Looking at the items, I REALLY want that Master Seal, seeing how I missed the C10 one... I also assign Norne the Master Key so she can go and get the Boots. Once Norne opened the Seal chest, I go for the throne. Marth ORKOs Volzhin, Heimler dies, Marth opens more chests cause he has time. Took me an extra 3 turns to get the damn boots, and it had better be worth it. 9 turns. Also left Boah and Midia alive, Midia so I can take Astram's items in C13.

Reclassed Jeigan to Sniper, because Boah outclasses him as a Bishop in every way.

Lena kills Horace, Norne scavenges kills. Pretty simple. Barst hitting Knights to 1HP with a Hand Axe really helped too. Aside from that, though, he didn't really do much. The pirates gave some nice EXP, so yay.

This chapter was fucking horrible. Lena was 2-shotted by Arrowspates, and of COURSE they had to keep hitting at 64%. Then when she ran, Jeigan would get destroyed. Eventually I realised BOTH of them could run, and then that turn everyone survived. I had to take 5 turns because I couldn't KO Grigas (And a cleric got in the way >_>) Barst hit B Axes (SILVER), Wolf hit C Axes (HAMMER), I r happy.

I hates this chapter. I HATES IT. I have no idea how you 6-turned it, Eclipse, because it seemed impossible.

Reclassed Barst to Hero and had him and Wolf tear through the middle. Marth reacehd the throne on turn 7 after Barst hammertimed the boss.

JB: Five turn on Chapter 13 is my normal. 3 is only possible if you have a ridiculous horse unit (i.e. Cain on steroids).

HINT: Silver Sword and Levin Sword are your friends.
