I need partners that capitalize on Mario's strengths or complement them, not partners that can do things on their own - none of them can anyway. Mario makes them all look like trash. Mario can probably solo these games. No, he just plain can. If Yoshi wasn't required for those retarded iron dudes, I mean. Yes this is biased as hell but that's why it's non-debatable! I posted it as RAW FACT (which maybe it wouldn't be except I'm the one who posted it) so it's mostly just shameless PEIE entertainment. But just to give you an example Would you rather do a tiny 5 damage (even with defense ignore) now, or dodge an attack that might kill you or charge to do enough damage in one turn to completely stomp the 5 damage/turn rate Watt has later? Depends on if you're fighting a boss, but if you're not, what the hell do you care about your partners for? The fight's already over.
