All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve Santa came to say: "Rudolph with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" I am not sure that Rudolph was not happy, but the other reindeer were happy that he had finally taken their place in leading the sleigh, one was possibly even spared the duty of pulling as a result.
