Leaf got to level 17, and Celice basically dominated the rest of the map. Chapter 9 (13/84) Julia is like level 2 or something. OOPS. BUT LEAF PROMOTED SO IT'S ALL OK. Arthur was in range of ONE Hand Axer, who peeled off to go smack him twice to get him into Wrath range. The others, instead of following, all blitzed Isaac (/celice) despite this. Celice ended the chapter at 19.something. EDIT: The more I think about it, I'm modestly positive early Rescue isn't going to be able to make up for the turns Layleen would have saved. We'll see! Pressing on! YIED: 10 turns clear = 27 turns total natch MELBOURNE: 4 turns clear = 31 turns total Lana's first real shave. ALSTER?: 4 turns clear = 35 turns total lol got leaf to level 10 CONNACHT: 5 turns clear = 40 turns total warp! MEASE?: 5 turns clear = 45 turns total fee! Actually I guess it would be possible with LayLana, but wtfever. Third castle, no savings from having Laylea. Lana killed Trabant. What a woman. THRACIA: 4 turns clear = 57 turns total one behind horace for this chapter. Six turn buffer, two chapters to go. I could not have killed Julius in the requisite turns with Celice alone, so I opted for the Julia save for my heart's burden. I'll mop him up and then wrap-up in the next post. One failed run (had to load a save lol) involved her missing Julius seven consecutive times. She would have 1RKO'd had those all connected. Not to mention that they wouldn't have happened cause Charge and yeah. OKAY WRAPUP wait why the fuck do all of my units have 132 losses? okay after julius died every one of my units was given 132 losses and there was some major screenfuckery. additionally, one time the thracian phase went on forever and I had to load a state (game didn't freeze, my units kept bouncing, but it didn't move on for ~1 minute of pure turbo) the hell is this shit? whatever CELICE - 153 KILLS what he's celice i actually have a collage picture of all of my celices since i started drafting fun shit A+ L33F - 28 KILLS most of them with that silver bow i love leaf but not having a dancer crippled me in some places pretty nasty A+ BROHALVA - 18 KILLS tbh i was kinda surprised with brohalva he held his own in fighting and i only fed him shit nobody else wanted (except the pursuit ring) C+ CARPOOL - NO KILLS corple did exactly one useful thing in the entire game he put the stupid fucking bow dark knight to sleep right at the end of the game so fee could run rampant i forgot one thing when i chose him over fathead: he doesn't have elite D HANNIBUTT - 4 KILLS he killed nothing that i didn't specially leave alive for him to kill EXCEPT one silencer near chalphy in F and even he wasn't a big deal like dimna could have done it ffs F ARTHUR - 36 KILLS poor kid his mag fucked him hard but he was still a pretty great unit he handled ishtar's whole squad while leaf was busy going up and celice was busy going away fun fact: he had 0% hit on meng's squad at the end that's why celice always deals with them - it's the single biggest rn abuse i'll permit myself, letting him kill that squad on an ep A PATCHES - 5 KILLS absolutely terrible in a draft like this since nobody needed money for shit and all of my fighters were better pity cause i'm really biased towards her ;/ D RADMAN - 17 KILLS she's definitely better than roddlebad the bad not that that's saying much but she took the silver sword in c7 or so and did pretty okay with it why not C LANA - 6 KILLS aaaaaa i love her but she was honestly really underwhelming she shaved MACHO turns in c7 when she pulled celice over the desert towards ishtor she would have saved MACHO turns again had i had a dancer leaf saved exactly nothing with the rescue staff in c9 - again, because no dancer A JULIA - NO KILLS not even julius skipping resire and leveling arthur fucked her bad but she did help on julius so C FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE - 65 KILLS blatant favoritism? perhaps do i regret it? no A THE FREEBIE CAVS - 6 (what.) AND 11 KILLS what. B and B+ ---------- SUMMARY: My ONLY and biggest failing was not having a Dancer. Had I had Lana and either of Layleen, it would have been just gg no re. Unfortunately, I know Horace would draft BOTH Laylea and Leen before letting me get that sacred combination, so. Double unfortunately, the sheer fact of me not having a Dancer and Horace having one, considering we both had Leaf, was it for me. I do NOT think that I could have optimized this enough to push Horace out. I simply don't think it was possible without the Dancer. I could have done it better, perhaps shaved a few turns here and there, but I could not have pushed Horace off of his perch. GG.
