FE7 "link arena draft" question

think about this;

you and 3 friends are playing FE, fighting a link battle after every 5 chapters. Lyn mode is played, furthermore all modes are open for choice.

this means there will be a link battle after chapter 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and Final.

what characters would you use?

I decided to use only Hector, Lyn, Eliwood, Florina and Oswin mostly. with Marcus taking a spot earlygame. it didn't turn out as good as it looked like. I played LHM/HHM. Lyn barely does any damage, Florina gets weighed down by anything, Oswin is slayed in a sec using armor piercing weapons and Eliwood is horrible at anything. only Hector was epic enough to survive and kill in link battles.

EDIT: oh, and hacks/glitches are forbidden, no uber spear

it doesn't. there's a link cable available for GBA emulator. you'll all have to play from the same PC though

Or just have the ROM and emulator on a memory stick (as I do), and pass it around between each other to play on your own machines.

I like using Hector, Hawkeye, Barte, Heath, and Oswin.
