Units like Arran cannot attack or gain exp, but can be used as meat shields until death. Promoted units can be recruited for their weapons, and Master Seals are not allowed either. I'm going to do this for fun, but anyone else should join along and compete for getting the farthest before dying (I doubt anyone could complete the game). That way, they could have the appearance of a large amount of Defense without having a large amount of Defense; it's a great way to have difficulty without being annoying. Exactly! I started my playthrough but I'm only still in the prologue. I picked a female mage and I don't think I'm going to use other units except Marth and MU. Ryan just got a perfect level up.
