RNG Princess
Ilyana 4.5/10 She is not worth training for LTC in HM and even casually she's a troublesome to raise with that horrible speed growth and low bases ^^'; In normal she's way better. She also has low move and is slightly more durbable than Miccy, Leo, and Laura but still pretty bad. The upside of Ilyana is keeping her alive lets the player ferry useful items and skills for the GMS. What I value most about her is the useful nuking in Part 1, she hits res and allows others to cleanly get kills. A forge can help her low magic and low hit for nuking, and early on DB's have trouble hitting for kills so she's helpful ^^' (that forge can be given to Tormod and later to Pelleas ;W;) Edited April 12, 2012 by Queen_Emelina
dondon151
Ilyana doesn't do anything to transfer items. We don't give characters credit for their starting inventory, now, do we?
Silith
And here I thought we did. Isn't Harken better then Karel because he brings that Brave Sword?
Colonel M
And here I thought we did. Isn't Harken better then Karel because he brings that Brave Sword? Harken is in a better class and boasts superior stats before Brave Sword.
Elieson
Harken is in a better class and boasts superior stats before Brave Sword. So he would receive the same score had he started with an iron blade?
Colonel M
So he would receive the same score had he started with an iron blade? Precisely, though this assumes Brave Sword exists elsewhere. Weapon inventory shouldn't really be a factor of a character. Rather, what they can use instead. It is true that Karel cannot use the Brave Sword and Harken can, but at the same time if the sword existed outside of Harken's inventory Karel could use it. It's a little complex to explain it I guess, but hopefully we are at an understanding. If the Brave Sword never exists, his score could change, but that depends on how reliant he is on it. Harken doesn't get more out of his score because he comes with the Brave Sword. Rather, he gets a score increase because he can use the Brave Sword. We don't give Sophia a 5/10 because she nets a free Guiding Ring for example. We rate her a 0.5 or whatever because her combat sucks ass and even by some miracle she is trained she won't be good.
