I mean I'm sure they'll prioritize active series', but I wouldn't be surprised to see some random blasts from the past :P. CC is third party though, not sure they'd go after him. I'm in the "Sony's characters aren't particularly impressive" camp, though I DO like Ratchet & Clank. If the stronger competition makes Nintendo improve SSB4 further that would be cool! Though I must admit that they don't have to go very far for me since I liked Brawl (though I think it's gotten a bit stale now). Of course it's a moot point for me because I don't have a PS3. Refa Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 (edited) Sony doesn't have very many long running (5 years or more) franchises compared to Nintendo, Konami, Capcom, Square (well, Square because they gobbled up a lot of other companies), Sega, etc. They'll have to bring out the best of the best 3rd party characters (I'd think I'd buy it for Alucard alone though, some FF7 characters would be cool too) to make me interested in purchasing it. So much for covering a lot of Playstation history. I hope we get daily updates about exciting things like the options menu. Did you know it has 4:3 and 16:9 television settings? Psh. I'm just a little burned out on Cloud's new representation in anything cross-over or sequel-related for him. I could go for some RPG characters that are a little more obscure though; Max and Monica from Dark Cloud 2/Chronicles would be great.
