"C'mon Eirika dodge, darn that was a 43%." "C'mon Garcia hit, darn that was a 70&." "C'mon Artur dodge and hit, Yes thank you!" so yeah. Chapter 5 8/40 Went up the left side, got the torch house, no Joshua, and Artur&Garcia handled the rest of the chapter as Eirika dealt with Bandidts. Knoll: Won't make a difference. :P I'm going to restart this draft, so bumping this back up. Updates in this post in a bit. Prologue - 2 turns (2) I'm not dumb anymore. Chapter 1 - 5 turns (7) Standard. Chapter 2 - 5 turns (12) Vanessa joins. NPC Garcia rules. Chapter 3 - 8 turns (20) Vanessa got a perfect level up. <3 Chapter 4 - 7 turns (27) Lute make stuff go boom. Chapter 5 - 7 turns (34) All villages for the guiding ring, too! Found an easy way to recruit Joshua. Chapter 5x - 8 turns (42) Saved a chest key! Chapter 6 - 5 turns (47) Eirika's still trucking. Chapter 7 - 4 turns (51) Thankfully Vanessa gained enough STR to 1RKO one of the annoying archers with iron. Chapter 8 - 12 turns (63) Promoted Lute to MK. Got the Elysian whip. Chapter 10 - 3 turns (76) Yeeeeeah, I'm not wasting my time for Marisa. Chapter 11 - 10 turns (86) Lute reaches C staves. L'Arachel get. Chapter 12 - 11 turns (97) Curses. Vanessa promotes to Wyvern Knight. Chapter 13 - 2 turns (99) Lute gets some barrier stave uses in before killing Aias. Chapter 14 - 10 turns (109) Wanted to get some staves for Lute. Chapter 15 - 9 turns (118) Could've done this faster, but meh. Lute needed to raise her staff rank. Duessel, Ephraim, and Vanessa are the best team ever. L'Arachel becomes a hammerne bot. Chapter 16 - 4 turns (122) Lute gets to A staves just in time. Vanessa gets the boots and the energy ring just because. Joshua kills the fucker priest blocking the throne. Chapter 19 - 1 turn (131) Is it sad I never realized torch could do this? Chapter 20 - 4 turns (135) Fucking Vanessa gets 1HKO by fucking Morva, so Ephraim had to bring his ass over to finish the job. Love Rescue and Warp on Lute. L'Arachel hits B staves, and that could actually prove useful. Final Chapter - 3 turns (138) Lute warps Vanessa with a little help from L'Arachel, who had the rescue staff. Lyon MISSES Vanessa during the enemy phase (wouldn't matter if she did get hit, since there's backup), and she weakened him enough on turn 2 for Ephraim to get the kill just because. Two turns. I. FUCKING. LOVE. PIERCE. Ephraim smacks the goat demon after, L'Arachel breaks rescue to rescue Myrrh, who then kills him. Annnnnd I actually did get 138 turns! I beat Integ by a turn! Her usefulness started to dwindle around lategame, though, except for seizing in C20. Promoted at level 16 and didn't see much use, but was bro when he was around. MVP #2. Vanessa will always be my favorite pegasus knight in this game, and making her a wyvern knight helped A TON. She became the best unit on the team after she promoted, and she and Lute make an excellent duo, IMO. The MVP. I...don't know what to say. Lute's fucking amazing, and I her. Promoting her to MK before the route split was a good decision, PLUS, she hit A staves when I needed her to. She's probably my favorite warper in the game now. Sorry L'Arachel. Promoted in C14 to gain enough WEXP to wield Audhulma for the desert. Joshua's a cool guy. Hey, L'Arachel may have not promoted, but she was...not useless. Her 4 range Rescue kinda helped! Maybe he could've done something...? I didn't promote him for some reason. Oh well. See Ephraim, minus the promoting early part. Killed the Demon King. And got like, 4 perfect level ups. Daaaaaaaamn. Stripper/10. Marisa wasn't recruited because she's a dumb bitch for being on the other side of the C10 map. This is the first FE8 draft I've finished seriously (Sadist draft doesn't count) and I'm very satisfied with how things turned out. 138 turns? Very good, no? EDIT: Actually, two edits. First one: lol how did I get so many votes in the poll does anybody actually know my win record? it's not very good if you discount de facto wins. Second edit: I lost by literally the margin counted for by not abusing the 2 turns prologue clear.
