Evangellist Posted March 1, 2013 Share Posted March 1, 2013 After playing FE: Awakening, and it landing easily on my top ten favorite games of all time list, I just wondered what games other FE fans enjoy. Other Strategy RPG's? JRPG's? FPS games? Fighting games? Anything really, even games in the FE series. My personal favorite game ever is Final Fantasy tactics Advance. So I'll just give you a top 5 of my favourite games. #1. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword #2. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty #3. Fire Emblem 4 #4. Batman: Arkham Asylum #5. Tie between Pokemon Emerald and Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword Also worth mention is the 1st and 3rd Metal Gear Solid (haven't played 4), all the Super Smash Bros. games, all other Zelda games except ones I haven't played (CD-i games, Minish Cap, little of Zelda II, and the Oracle games). Batman Arkham City, Kirby Superstar Ultra, most of the rest of the Fire Emblem series, Fallout 3, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Star Wars: Battle Front 1 and 2, Force Unleashed 1, and Lego. Spore, Oblivion, Fable series, Halo Reach, Assassin's Creed II, Metal Gear Rising, rest of the Pokemon games, Mario, Soul Calibur IV, Lego Rock Raiders, Pikmin, Custom Robo and most anything else Nintendo. Love Skyward sword (I still don't understand why Egoraptor and Jontron hate it. <---- Odd youtube reference I pulled out my butt.) and I LOVE MGS 3, and MGS 4 is worth a play. I also love the Batman games, Pokemon Emerald is my favorite pokemon (3rd gen FTW.), haven't played Battlefront 1, but love battlefront 2. I love all the Pokemon games too, love oblivion and skyrim, Nintendo games always strike my fancy too, I find they're the most polished of any game company. My favorite Zelda is Majora's Mask, I own like 3 copies of that game. Yeah, I love Mario too, hard not to love it. And Luigi's Mansion is easily a top ten for me, ^_^ First gamecube game. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga 5. Paper Mario 6. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest 7. Phoenix Wright: Justice for All 8. Super Mario Sunshine 9. Fire Emblem: Geneaology of the Holy War (FE4, Seisen no Keifu) 10. Fire Emblem (FE7, The Blazing Sword, Rekka no Ken) Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario 64, and Pokemon Emerald would probably beat out the two FEs, though. Darros Posted March 2, 2013 Share Posted March 2, 2013 The Rhythm Heaven series is a favorite of mine, ever since I hath played the first game, Rhythm Tengoku. Paper Mario is also a favorite of mine, a quite magnificent game series. I hast only enjoyed 1 & 3, howbeit I hear 2 is spectacular. Shame 4 hath not received such praise. I hast also played Chrono Trigger, albeit recently. I love it quite much as to hath played fan made ROM Hacks expounding on the series due to my colossal enjoyment of it. Love Dragon Quest 9 too, one of my favorites as well. I dabbled a bit in Dungeon Defenders too, that game is like crack. #1. Persona 3 Wow, nice list, I can safely say I love all of those, except for Wings and the Lost Ocean which I haven't played. Xenoblade was absolutely marevlous. Dang, I totally forgot about the Portal games, I knew there was something missing. I think everything made by Valve is sort of implied anyway. :D If I had to actually make my list, it would be like this: 1. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance/Fire Emblem Awakening (Trying to decide which one I like more.) 2. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3. Final Fantasy 6 4. Skyrim 5. Luigi's Mansion 6. Pokemon Emerald 7. Golden Sun 2, Eternal Sonata, Ys, Trails in the Sky, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem... as well as the decidedly non-RPG Professor Layton, Ace Attorney, Zero Escape, and Metroid series. I'm also getting into Etrian Odyssey lately, although I've only played the second game and the demo of the fourth. Will probably pick up the third if I like the fourth. - Legend of Heroes series (this is all Vincent's fault, and when is Trails 2 gonna be out in English?!) At current rate, it appears as though it will probably be a 2014 Steam release if it gets released at all. If that sells, we might get 3rd. Zero, Azure, and Flash? Ahahahahahahahahaha. I was kind of worried about recommending the series in case something like this happened. Trails is massive and XSEED probably just isn't big enough to handle the task (or at least quickly). That's not a jab at them though. As for myself, I'm generally into RPGs.
