your Roy's resistance level ups are making me lose it, that kept happening to me in my HM run and I had to dump stat boosters on him so he could hold his own later on.

voted for Lalum route because Elphin is a nerd and Lalum is cute.

Yep, i found Roy being RNG Blessed a bit cool. I'd be more of a blessing if he got plenty of defense levels since his defense growth is lower.

I actually thought most people would vote for B route but i was wrong. Not looking forward to Chapter 11 if i go to Route A.

I'm amazed with these poll results. First i see Lalum's Route in the lead for quite a bit of time and then Elphin's Route overtook it not too long ago. But anyways...

Lugh starts us off by killing this knight.

Even if Lugh doesn't get anymore MAG, when he promotes he'll gain a +3 MAG gain, which leaves him at a respectable 17 MAG. Not to mention he's speedy.

Yeah that joke was funny. I honestly feel that most units end up ok in FE6. Sometimes I get unlucky, but for the most part it's ok. I hate Sophia's bases, btw. Terrible. I'm doing a Bow and Magic users only run right now and she has been such a pain :/

You haven't seen this thread in a while thanks to me not working on this playthrough for almost a full year. This was thanks to a combination of me being busy and my old computer's hard drive dying on me back in December. Well, i checked what data i retained to find out that i was only set one chapter back, making recovery for this playthrough not that much of a struggle. If this defies any necroposting rules, sorry about that and i'll post this in a new thread.

First off, let's see the stats of Roy and all the Magic-Users in comparison to the most recent update before this one. Let's see how the changes affected me...

Basically, nothing major has changed if the character didn't end up worse off...

Here is Chapter 9:

Chapter 9
Turns Taken: 46 Turns

I hate this chapter... (Also, Sue and Noah are here for the recruitable characters


Thankfully, the Torch Staff exists.


Lilina sneaks in a kill. Roy and Lugh are there to make sure she does so without taking damage.


This Archer is higher leveled and therefore, Lilina is the one that kills him.


Fir and Shin aren't located yet. Soon enough though!


Lilina gets a Kill and Roy equips the Iron Blade so he doesn't kill Fir when she attacks.


Fir get. Rescue Drop Shenanigans let's the units get out of enemy range.


Unarmed Lugh baits Shin, Sue recruits him and now i can focus on killing enemies again.


Defense. Can't really complain about this...


Hopefully, i can make my way to the top-right of the map before the onslaught of reinforcements begin.


Coast seems to be clear. *gets Saul out of the way before Pirates come*


The one time a one-stat level benefits me.


Top part seems to be clear *gets units up there*. Also, this boss is frightening thanks to the crit bonus he has...


Lugh for best bridgekeeper.


Not worth risking my units to save this village.


Could have been better but i just appreciate the fact that you have decent stats.


On the other hand, you need a few decent level ups...


You know what Lugh, keep guarding the bridge near the fort. The Pirate's waterwalking could prove to be problematic...


Echidna Route Confirmed, along with some extra cash.


This is what happens when Lugh runs out of tome uses...


Iron Sword, Steel Sword and Iron Blade get.


Fire, 2 Heals, Mend and Torch get. (I also buy 2 more fires and another torch later on just incase)


Nice level up and all but you need some strength too...


Might be the last of em. With Rescue Drop, Lilina gets some potshots in!

All Clear, Time to kill Scott now!


That is, after we kill the enemies nearby Scott.


She's on track to have high avoid and all but some Magic would be nice too...


I'm just going to do the rescue drop thing, since Scott still has around 30 crit with a Hand Axe. I am not willing to deal with that...


Just expecting a hit but Lilina got a Crit. Nice stuff.


She celebrates her victory with a strong finish. Nice, Very Nice.


....and it's over. Chapter went better than expected.
