If it were me, I'd jumping of happiness :o

Luckily, an online shop for Colombia has begun to sell some amiibos, so far they're dealing with the first wave and Mario, Yoshi, Pikachu, DK and Peach are the only ones available (they have an awful low stock); I saw Kirby like three days ago and a couple of hours later there was no Kirby anymore. There's no Marth, nor Link, etc.

I hope they bring up the second wave to get Zelda and Little Mac because the dolar is awfully high respecting COP and a 12.96 amiibo costs COP 113000~ with handling, shipping and taxes on Amazon which is terrible for me, lol.

Well, TP Zelda might not be your favourite but doesn't she also work with Hyrule Warriors to give her another weapon? Have you given that a shot?

I agree that the Zelda figurine is just ok. It's one of the ones where all the little details got a bit blocky although the dress itself is quite nice.

That was brought up in one of the Amiibo threads. But whether she's compatible with HW or not doesn't matter to me, as I don't plan to use Zelda much in the game at all.

And it's not so much the quality of the figure, I'm just not fond of TP Zelda herself. She has an alright design, but besides that, I never saw anything special about her.

I'm not sure if this'll help you much Anacybele regarding finding a Luigi amiibo, but I was able to find 1 (or 8, technically, but I'd rather not be one of those greedy resellers that resell amiibo for $60 bucks each. They were also limited to 1 of each type per customer, thankfully) at EB Games in my city. Best Buy and PnP games in my city still didn't get their Luigi amiibo delivery, and Best Buy didn't even have a designated shelf space for Luigi amiibo (signifying they haven't even gotten any Luigi amiibo delivered to them).

Also, I'm very sure that Luigi is one of the amiibo that'll always be in stock, especially with seeing how much figures EB games had of him (and that was just when EB games was closing down on boxing day, meaning there was probably quite a lot more figures of him before other customers bought him).

Well, my mom had already ordered one for me and she said it's shipped. So I'm good here. Thanks though. :)

Btw, is the thread title referring to my Zelda Amiibo that I don't want?

I went shopping today and one store sold out their entire amiibo shelves to the point that they only had 6 peaches and no one else.

Another store had only samus and peach. These really went flying off the shelves since they were having a 40 dollar smash bros 4 Wii U boxing day sale today.

It's so sickening that people sell hot Nintendo products like that should get punched in the face.

Anybody got the data on the Double Final Smasher Protection Badge from the one that you get from the 9.0 intensity without losing a life challenge. I happened to pick one of these very rare customs up while trying to do the 7.0 intensity with all characters challenge. It provides 26 Def and -26 Speed.

I have two. One has +12/-17 and the other has +13/-20. Not sure which one I got from the challenge panel, though.

I think I saw Luigi at HMV today in Cardiff.

Not that I think that would be of any use to you, but he is out there and available, unlike a certain Marth amiibo.

I got most of mine from crazy orders.

And thanks.

Also, upon completion of the challenge board, you get 2 million gold.. and I have no idea what you're supposed to use it for.

I officially got my first amiibo as a late Christmas present. My friend got me a Luigi that has a bit of a black smudge on his chin. I shall call him … Mole-igi! Also, the mall's GameStop was out of all amiibos minus Peach. They even ran out of Mario and Kirby, and my friend couldn't preorder Shulk anymore from either GameStop in my area. I think that they had some non-Peach amiibos in the other GameStop, but I didn't go inside that one today.

Also, 8-player Smash is really nuts. I find that the most common phase that comes out of my mouth during 8-player Smash is "where the fuck am I", and for some reason it's the ONLY mode in which I'm better at Robin than Shulk. On the other hand, my friends and I are going to do an amiibo party as soon as wave 3 is out.

I only have around 30ish hats and didn't find a single new one throughout the Classic Mode while trying to do the 7.0 with all characters challenge. You don't really find all of them from Classic. Some are exclusive to Crazy Orders, Trophy Rush and Target. Classic is best of getting the custom moves on 3DS. But...Wii-U the Target Game may be best for that since both Crazy Orders and Classic are gambles and that you don't get to do the wheel roulette trick anymore.

-----

Just got the 300k gold and now I can spend it on the remaining 200ish trophies that I have left to get. The Prince Of Sable trophy is quite interesting for a Gameboy game. Wonder why that it is a Japan only title? ...I would have loved to play it! Because he looks like Adol. :D

The 2 Mil Coins seems rather pointless since you have to have about 100% of everything to complete the challenge board anyway. What a worthless prize. -.-

Doesn't seem like many people want Peach. We have mostly Peach left too where I work. lol

To make it worse, they have removed her aerial kick and replaced it with a rainbow. Doing that dickish move makes it a bit harder to master Peach and that it doesn't provide the same impact as her kick did in Brawl and Melee. -.-

Wonder why no one buys Peach and Zelda?

You really have no idea of what you're even saying, do you. The rainbow has much more range than her previous up air and I don't think many people made use of her old up air. I personally think the rainbow is much more useful than her old up air. I get where you're going at with people being used to the old attack but that shouldn't ever decide whether people buy her amiibo or not.

I think nobody buys Peach because she has always been traditionally annoying to face for many people. It doesn't matter what game it is, many people in my area hate facing her, with some people calling her out as broken. "Literally the epitome of a 'troll character' when put in the right hands", as some people I know would say.

I remember Peach selling out fast down here when amiibo were first released. After restocking she is relatively easy to find, but is still selling nicely according to my local store owners.

I think the reason Peach is probably not selling much as others is because she's the "pretty princess" of the first wave of amiibo. Outside of collectors and Nintendo diehards, she's mostly aimed at little girls, so Peach's intended demographic (the people who buy Disney Princess dolls and figurines and the like), probably don't overlap much with the Nintendo audience.

I would've thought male Nintendo fans love Peach because of how much sexualized art I see of her and the other Nintendo females...

It's mostly her and ZSS I find sexualized, in fact. ZSS is no surprise though, as she's already pretty much sexualized by default.

Uh, you're talking about the internet here. There is porn of everything and everyone. That's not going to be a factor in amiibo sales.

There's Peach fans out there who like the character for reasons that have nothing to do with sexualization. Be considerate.
