Initially I think he's too massive and has no chance, but then I consider the fact that LOADS of people want him in, and that makes it kinda more likely. If any new Metroid characters are added...perhaps a random Zebesian? They're about the same height as Samus so their proportions would make more sense than Ridley being downscaled, and Zebesians are just as iconic as him. If not, then one of the Prime Hunters, but I don't think they're well-known enough. I don't think the chances are incredibly high of any new Metroid characters being added, and I don't really see the need for any, either. They would only be added to give Metroid as much representation as other franchises, and make it 'fair', but that's not how it should be done, is it? Dark Samus: probably a similar looking alternate costume Metroid: again, an assist trophey (provided those things still exist) Varios Hunters: didn't have enough screen time in the series Ridley: It's gonna be a boss. Even without being that huge, he's still much bigger than Mario in Mario games than he is in Smash.
