Interest Posted February 18, 2014 Author Share Posted February 18, 2014 New question! How good is your vision? Do you have to wear glasses or contacts or do you see everything crystal clear? Despite my ancestry saying otherwise, my vision is more or less good enough to avoid wearing glasses (somewhere around 20/20). Most of my family except for my brother, including my other immediate family, suffer from having poor vision, however. Some of them are near-blind in one or both eyes. At around 15 I could no longer read without glasses (or contacts, I wore contact lenses between 14 and 17). Since age 17, if I have been able to see something clearly with one eye, then it's been close enough to my face that opening my other eye invariably results in double vision. This is less than helpful when trying to examine things. In the US, I believe my eyesight is roughly 20/550. One of my sisters has 20/15 vision. But her eyes are less interesting a color, so HA! Everyone in my family has some combination of eye problems so it's really no surprise. :U On the bright side I guess it's fun to try and find cute glasses frames. I can read up close w/out glasses but I can't recognize people that well from a distance of like 30 ft even (just guessing really).
