Oh. I never knew that; probably wasn't paying attention. :P

Anyway, here's the back-view of Chesnaught.

Seems pretty awesome with those offensive stats, and that high HP base makes up for the defenses.

Depending on the movepool, it might turn out to be acceptable in OU.

wait a sec does that ability power up dark type moves even further?

uh.....

Yes, so assuming it ups dark types by 1.5, then a Dark Pulse from Yveltal would be, like, 160 power.

And if Oblivion Wing is Dark-type and base 120 power, then it'll be, like, 240. Or 280 if it's 140. OR EVEN 300 IF IT'S 150!

SO MUCH POWER!

...I wonder what Xerneas' stat spread is like...

I just feel that 90 speed Legendaries are becoming a cliche at this point.

It's nice that Yveltal can hit so hard, but Kyogre and Reshiram have already established themselves as hard hitting glass cannons.

I've had so much fun steamrolling teams with Calm Mind*6 Surfs.

According to a leaker named Hiro, there's around 90 new Pokémon, not including Mégas. Take this with a grain of salt though since he inverted Chesnaught and Greninja's secondary types.

Clauncher's evolution is curious to me. Because it learns Swords Dance and Crabhammer, I half expected Clawitzer to be a Pokemon that specializes in physical damage. But because it gets Mega Launcher, I guess it makes sense. Unless, however, that's a Clawitzer with a Modest nature.

But eh, it looks cool regardless.

GET BEHIND CLAWITZER DOKTOR!

To be fair with the guy above me, Kingler got Crabhammer in first generation and couldn't use it very well himself. Swords Dance didn't boost it and even Amnesia tradebacks negated critical hits, making Surf better.
