Teapot
I just need some quick statistics for my management class assignment. I'd appreciate it if you'd take a moment to answer a quick question. This question is directed toward those who have attempted, are currently attending, or have attended college. > If you have, for any reason, missed class, what were your reasons for being absent? No limit for reasons; just list as many as you can think of. This can include mundane things like sickness, studying for tests in other classes, playing hooky, etc. Thanks in advance. dondon151
sometimes i justify not going to class because i don't think i'll learn anything by going to that class. but it's a pretty poor justification.

Teapot
Thanks bunches, guys. o 3o~ I'll add my own reasons. > overslept/alarm didn't go off/forgot to set alarm> sick/ill> didn't feel like it/class not important enough to care> project/paper due for another class> test in another (more important) class to study for > car broke down > weather> forgot about lab > family emergency > waiting for some important appointment or another
Robert Stewart
> didn't feel like it/class not important enough to care That too I had a Computer Engineering Lab that I never went to because I could do everything I was required to do in that lab from my dorm, and they didn't take attendance. deleted35362
i've cut class at times because i wanted to go hit the practice rooms in the music hallway at my school. learning how to sing is freakin demanding and i can't be doing it at home where i'm forced to restrain myself. X-Naut
Almost always being too sick, although the most recent (which was back in April) was due to a death in the family. But otherwise I always show up to class.

Lord Raven
This semester it's a lot of "I didn't give a fuck"... but to be fair that was just Macroecon #senioritis
Maji
Instructor's incompetence, in the sense that they read directly off the slides in a bland, uninteresting tone. Therefore I can just read the material and download the lecture. It's happened before, and ironically, that was my winning class that semester mark wise, despite the fact that I only really went to the first week's lectures. Teapot
To be fair, some of these circumstances are beyond our control. While a lot of reasons aren't necessarily the best, I'd appreciate it if you didn't mock anyone for having missed a class.
