Doesn't Laguz Band transform the royals forever? I thought it acted like RD. And I didn't know that about laguz. I only used Lethe and Mordy ever in PoR and i never noticed how much laguz gauge drops each turn because I go too fast

The transformation gauge changes the same for everyone in PoR.

The Laguz Band works exactly as you said; the problem is that my Tibarn is equipped with a Full Guard.

And wow, I'm stupid for not using swords with Makalov (which he obviously has). Guess playing two games simultaneously is a predicament for sucking.

Hawkeye, why am I not doubling (to add insult to injury)? Pretty sure we never agreed to let non-royals take the Laguz Band and Muarim transformed on turn 1 and has a pretty bad gauge otherwise. 28 AS vs 24 AS.

PKL (and everyone else who might run a game), Luna and Flare lower the def/res stat 1 point more if the number is odd (11 res becomes 5 res).

Is Gatrie even possible to take down without magic?

Non-Laguzguard variants don't fight Giffcas and Tibarns well, still requiring a few rounds to succumb to the sustained attacking. Ones without Full Guard get walloped by Hammers (can't dodge shit). Knight Ward is a minor thing most of the time; Nepenthe is the only user of it that doesn't need a Full Guard for anything (lolDanved).

The Full Guard Gatries pretty much demand Ilyana (who is the second must-have unit after Ike; we don't know if Lucia/Nasir compromise this just yet). Otherwise, Luna/Aether procs to cut through that defence.

Players (like me in this match) make decisions based on the numbers they have seen previously in the match and figure which item the target had equipped (namely the KW).

This also means you can bluff your opponent by sending in a team with incomplete supports (like Ilyana x Gatrie C), giving the other player the wrong idea. Pretty fun, and dondon's idea of removing scouting (something I don't quite see being emulatable in forum post format, not to mention do not like at all from the gameplay perspective) wouldn't even enable this nifty aspect of the metagame to exist.

Alright, sorry it seems I messed up big on that. I assumed KW on all armors and mounts up to now. Didn't remember it has a limit per team. I won't tell who has what, though you can probably deduce from this:

Gatrie's new HP total is 49/59

Espinosa's Makalov is the biggest thing.

When Makalov first attacked Oscar, he was supposed to take 20 damage total not 16.

Putting him at 31/51 HP

and then Ilyana's next attack should've OHKO'd. I think we should replay from there unless both parties agree to proceed.

I'm fine with proceeding. We're still working out kinks and I would rather get more games completed so we can have a better grasp of what we're doing. TBH I'm actually just really sick and all my mental energy is going into moderating the other game so I don't really want to think about this game at all.
