It's not terribly luck really - your Innes dodged more than he should have for example. It's nowhere as bas as eating 2 low% crits in a row and failing to activate Wrath three times, which was my earlygame in the last PoR match.

Choosing to use L'Arachel with 25 AS and 6 con was probably a mistake though.

ivaldi!L'arachel is pretty beast, except her 37 hp means she's still 2hko'd by like everything. I don't see many magic users as viable combatants due to such low hp :/
