In a thousand years, assuming the site or internet at large weren't burnt to the ground, digital archeologists would happen upon the ruins of a once-great* discussion forum, and think to themselves;

"wow

nerds"

*(not like "Imperial Court" or even "forum at Rome" great, but not too shabby overall)

...How do you 'lock a forest' anyway? Completely surround it with a wall of chains and padlocks? Those poor squirrels...

Didn't the US do that to their national parks when the government shut down?

We are totally better than the forum at Rome. When you are talking to somebody there is a perfect record of what they've said (barring edits) for you to access. We also have information about the Fire Emblem series attached to us at the hip thanks to Vincent. As for the Imperial Court, I can't say.
