Beorc and Laguz

Recommended Posts

Ok I remember Sothe mentioning that Beorc meant "creatures of wisdom" and Laguz meant "creatures of strength" but what language is that in? Because if it was beorc language then it wouldn't make sense since in FE9 all the beorc are all like "I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THE WORD LAGUZ EXISTED!!!" and it can't be in laguz language since Mordecai says that they just use growls or the beorc language to communicate. So how does Sothe out of all the people know what they mean?

Dunno. I'd like to say ancient language but...

laguz->raguzu->zugaru=?

beorc->beoruku->ukuroebu=?

Maybe it's just the meaning of the word, in no certain language.
