Adam, the perfect military mind, split up his soldier in an hostile environment, when the first monster they encountered nearly defeated the whole squad together. He then keeps them apart even when one of his own starts murdering squad members left and right. He finish that beautifully by uselessly blowing himself up to 'save' Samus. Sure thing. Sorry for the somewhat one-sided discussion. No problem, and I've been caught up in multiple discussion myself so I might be missing some posts.
