Acacia Sgt Posted April 30, 2016 Share Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) I'm surprised a little that in order to neutralize the Solar Ray it's a matter of sending a unit over there to... do something with it. Instead of like, destroy the fleet of solar panels that float around the colony laser. Though if I remember right all the way back in SRW 2 it had a stage with the Solar Ray and that was the objective. Destroy the solar panels. Hm, turn 5 allows me to deploy 4 more units. Nice gesture but... hahaha, I already routed the enemy. Though it seems the stage didn't finished. Which means I have to move a unit to the Solar Ray anyway. Which, to the total lack of surprise from me, it explodes. Though what did is that it didn't got to fire. More like, seems like Ghiren rigged it to overload itself and blow up, pretty much treating the Delaz Fleet as sacrifice to do us in. I bet Gato won't be happy for that... assuming he lives of course. Of course he will, he appears in Alpha 2, but not that one would've know back when this game got released... well, unless... Because they have hijacked the Titans' own colony laser, Gryps 2, as well! Then again, why not keep both? Oh well... Oh boy, this is gonna be interesting. Stage starts with my forces split up. The Macross in one corner, and the Gran Garan on the other. Each with 6 units to deploy. There's a skill point if I move a unit to Gryps 2 within 4 turns. And like the Solar Rey, it's all covered up. And he stumbled across the battlezone... not that he minds if he thinks he can take us on. Pft, hahahahahaha... although, he has some quite high-tier Mechabeasts... and MP Great Mazingers... and what the heck, MP Getter Robo G's!? Where did he got the specs for that!?
