Where'd you learn this?

i guess there was an official source, but someone in one of the chats i'm in came in saying

[7:28:57 PM] Kao: So.
[7:28:59 PM] Kao: Apparently
[7:29:07 PM] Kao: the dancer girl's name (FE14)
[7:29:09 PM] Kao: is Aqua.
[7:29:09 PM] Elyn: Yes?
[7:29:29 PM] Elyn: huh. as in
[7:29:38 PM] Elyn: a-k-u-a?
[7:29:38 PM] Kao: Water
[7:29:42 PM] Kao: Iunno.
[7:30:07 PM] Elyn: because i'm pretty sure the katakana would look something like
[7:30:09 PM] Elyn: wait
[7:30:16 PM] Elyn: nevermind, I don't think
[7:30:25 PM] Kao: オクワ

In hindsight, that's a pretty mundane name for her.

It lacks creativity, but that's just me.

and that person has the kata for Aqua all wrong.

Well, perhaps over there it's not mundane and that's why they chose it. Kinda like FFVI's Terra being named Tina over there because they aimed for an exotic sounding name.

Hm? How was the katakana then?

That meal was delicious.

I know.

I hope NoA changes it. Keeping the Water theme is fine, but Aqua is kinda awkward in English

No no, that's not what I mean, the name Aqua itself is fine, see Kingdom Hearts.

I mean it doesn't suit the dancer.

But at least it puts an end to the ever so ridiculous Olinnian and whatever else the hell these people called her

The problem with mods is that Unix/Linux is case-sensetive with filenames and Windows is not

Since most mods are written for/on windows, there are issues with filenames when running on Linux

or something
