Koneko
Technically I'm working to a math minor so I probably should I can try to help. [spoiler=bless you guys ;__] I think I know how to do it but I got different results than the rest of the class so idk if that's a good or bad thing orz

Since I'd assume this is related to what you saw. Also, can we assume that the drawing is symmetric and that AO splits the angle it passes through in half? This doesn't look like anything I tutored recently so I'm hella rusty
Starman
gotta get the oil to unrust unfortunately i don't know what would be a good thing to unrust for math since i'm not a big math guy >~~~~~~~~> beautiful
LuxSpes
I think seeing how you solved it, even if you're not sure about the answer could help me remove some of the rust (that's how I had to do during some of my tutoring session)

This doesn't look like anything I tutored recently so I'm hella rusty The topic is applying and solving right triangles, so I assume it's using aspects related to how to solve right triangles and all that good stuff. I assumed there are some right angles based on the tangency rule. I'm not sure about the drawing being completely symmetric, I assume that's how it is. This is how I solved it and according to Bal it is correct so I am saved \o /

Koneko
I was wondering if you were supposed to assume all those triangles were right I have no clue Just gonna assume they are cause of how all lines that are tangent to another make right angles o7 If math-sensei says otherwise I'm just gonna flip tables or something

Lance Masayoshi
How's that working out for you btw. [10:41:33 PM] Alicia: Nobunaga's Ambition: Takemoto Masae log, 1622 JUL [10:44:40 PM] Alicia: Today, we took Mobe Castle from the Anto clan. This is most surprising, they were plenty resourceful before, but now their entire resources are gone. My closest General and Leader-in-Chief, Motonobu Sanada, will take up residence in Mobe and construct it back to glory. [10:46:10 PM] Alicia: However, the Hakodate tribe continues to be a constant bother. But no matter, if they get in our way, I'll send a peacemaker to deal with it. For now, Tokuyama Castle stands next, and I'll have the upmost northren part of Japan. It'll be a long time.. Before I meet him in battle. Koneko
There's only one thing that I don't understand: How can the 'purple' angle be of 26.5 degrees if the other two are of 37 and 90 degrees? Since angle BOC was just half of angle BOD (which was 53 degrees), I just split that in half to make it 26.5 degrees edit: I think I wrote the 37 there by accident whoops Edited October 10, 2015 by Koneko

Shouldn't all triangles have a combination of angles that equals to 180 degrees? Edited October 10, 2015 by Naughx
