Dagons in SoV might be based on the removed water dragon class from Mystery of the Emblem.

oh?
that was a thing?

Yeah, Water Dragons show up in Echoes. Quite a few times, at that.

i meant more water dragons being a cut part of FE3

they both sound like really cool stuff though

Why is the boss of the first chapter of SoV a Baron with 33 Def and 20 Res when my highest physical and magical attacker respectively have 16 and 15 Atk.

The prologue is only made to use Mycen.
The others can't do shit.
It doesn't matter since you don't get any exp.

However it gives me the question what the purpose of the prologue is except for telling you to use forests because they're OP as fuck.

I was talking about Desaix in Zophia Castle(though Slayde is there as well). And I didn't  even bother using anyone other than Mycen in the prologue.

He leaves when the miniboss (forgot his name) is defeated.

Ah. I guess that explains why people were saying you needed to have Slayde chase Clair around while your units took on Desaix. Pretty sure I'll ignore him then. Don't really want to spend all my time grinding my units to a point where they can damage him

Here's a better strat:

Lure out, uh, Desaix?(I'm totally used to Dozei), beat Slayde to within an inch of his life so he runs to the healing tiles, and once he's in that area, block his path with Luka(s?), then surround and beat up Dozei. Silk knowing Warp makes this easier.

No excessive grinds required, you only need two healers and the second skill off the thunder sword. Chip damage can easily suffice.

P.S. I gave Silk that Dragon Shield and she never saw trouble again for the entire game.

In fact, she's the unit I recommend giving it to, unquestionably. I mean, she's the only one that won't really be affected by the -10 Spd

I didn't bother with it, too much work. So all I did was dunk Slayde and be done with it. The way I play, Silque(and Genny) are rarely ever in trouble anyway.

Make him an archer

or a merc

because all he has is strength

Wait where do you even get Jessie and Sonya/Deen

theres gonna be that bit where you fight by a desert stronghold
Jesses in there so go in the desert stronghold after the battle

do the one thing me and two other people forgot to do

and theres gonna be a route split between going to between the northern or southern desert
Going North will have you fight Deen and you can recruit Sonya in Grieths citadel
Going South will have you fight Sonya and you can recruit Deen in Grieths citadel
