I prefer to read the manga most of the time (since it allows me to progress faster) and I watch either short anime adaptations or original anime. Mainly because of Happy's voice (regardless of language, I find him annoying in Japanese and English), many of the effect backgrounds that are not in the manga, and the intermissions. Igneel isn't dead. Same. I rarely watch television, tbh. I never saw an anime on TV. I haven't watched TV in years. I always watch anime on the computer.
