ChefGuevara Posted September 19, 2014 Share Posted September 19, 2014 In previous Smash games there was his hidden mechanic called Directional Influence, which basically meant you could control where your character launches to, but not influence the actual distance the character would be sent. Vectoring allows you to control the actual launch distance So, like, an example going around is Mega Man's up tilt. Say it could kill Mario at 100% without vectoring being involved. With vectoring involved, he can live 'til around 130%.
