Agreed, I think without pushing the stage number too far, an FE that pulled it off could go about 50 - 55 stages... maybe

I think if anything, if FE14 were to have a large amount of stages, I would like for it to have the branch paths... but I've and a couple others have said this already.

Branching paths with actual splitting up would be great. But exclusive; not like RD Part 4 where you still played all of them in a single playthrough.

Yes.

Something that doesn't converge at a certain point. So it would be like path/ending A, path/ending B, etc.. I know I can word that better..

Or, multiple endings would be very nice, and not like FE3/12 and 6.

Oh yes, I know what you're talking about. Like how SRW does it. Although if one example stands out, it's in F/FF, since the branching paths to the endings were the last 10 or so stages long.
