Tide of Waves
((Haven't been on this site, for a long time?)) I was wondering... What Movesets, Nature, EV, and etc will I go, for a Competitive Tyranitar. and I'll make it, hold it's mega. Any Suggestion for Competitive Tyranitar? Comet
there's already a thread for this sort of thing: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=43931 I went jolly 252 attack 248 speed 8 defense with DD, Stone Edge, Crunch, Stealth Rock/Earthquake Edited February 14, 2014 by Comet
Shahrivar
I'd agree with Comet, but I would consider other coverage for the last moveslot aswell (Ice Punch for example, depends on your team).
Quintessence
No, I prefer Thunder Wave/Rock Slide/Pursuit/Stealth Rock because trollish
Icon of Sin
Tyranitar has plenty of different sets whether you want to play with the Mega Stone on him or not. Assault Vest makes him really bulky, Choice Band makes Pursuit trapping devastating, Choice Scarf is there, Dragon Dance is awesome for his Mega Evolution and he has a big support movepool and some decent mixed options. Alfred Kamon
Taunt is also very useful to prevent Will-o-Wisp's and nasty stuff like that.
Fruity Insanity
Taunt is also very useful to prevent Will-o-Wisp's and nasty stuff like that. But unless you're outspeeding the primary users of the moves, probably Trevenant, Rotom, and Sableye, it's pretty useless... Trevenant, okay. But outspeeding Rotom-W would require too much investment in speed. Sableye you can't outspeed at all because Prankster...

Works like a charm. Sableye is still despicable though And I don't need Taunt for Trevenant, I just Crunch it to death Edited February 15, 2014 by Alfred Kamon
