From memory it was because he was very pragmatic - very fucking pragmatic, and saw a lot of discourse on metaphysics as entirely meaningless. The least favorite is easier - I dislike Husserl. I'd never recommend to read "The Crisis of European Sciences and Transcendental Phenomenology: An Introduction to Phenomenological Philosophy", it gave me nightmares. The guy invented stoicism.
