i dislike david hume a lot. i hold the opinion that hobbes was fucking insane. like, literally insane. i read leviathan and it was just psycho yo.

i don't read philosphers' books so my opinion otherwise is probably useless. epicurus was the first yolo-er so that's pretty cool i guess. i'm also a fan of john locke.

i'll be taking a course on phil. for a ge, but that's not for a while. so point is i don't pay much attention to phil. and don't have a favorite yet.

I forget the specifics but iirc hobbes' entire philosophy was built around his personal experiences, like every time he stepped outside a city he got the shit kicked out of him or sth

Pretty fond of some of Søren Kierkegaard's style. His poking at the Christian state ideal in particular.
