The Envoy of the Beginning
Not Tw Cen MT Condensed/10 (Serious answer: It's okay for Comic Sans It's alright for Comic Neue) Edited April 22, 2014 by BLS
Thor Odinson
While comic sans doesn't work well with aesthetics, it has its merits in being one of the best fonts for dyslexic people to read. No real opinion on the other one. Probably won't use it on my site designs.
Nobody
Comic sans is IMO one of the ugliest, if not THE ugliest, fonts out there. I didn't even know comic neue existed before this topic, but it looks alright While comic sans doesn't work well with aesthetics, it has its merits in being one of the best fonts for dyslexic people to read. hmm, i didn't know of this. Do you know what's the reason for that? Edited April 22, 2014 by Nobody
Thor Odinson
I don't know offhand though I often come across it. A google search says something about being an evenly spaced sans serif. http://www.youthedesigner.com/2014/04/15/defending-comic-sans/ There's something I guess? I probably still won't use comic sans for my designs, but I also don't trust my design abilities well enough to use it right. Not that good yet. Parrhesia
I hope Comic Neue is good for that as well, while not being an eyesore.
Parrhesia
I'll say that it's really nice and clean, but the imperfection of the A/B/H really does bother me. It's okay, but I can't see myself using it over a standard font. Which, to be fair, is not really what it's designed for.
Ein
Isn't Comic Sans useful for some people though. Like it's easier to read and junk.
ZemZem
I was working with my friend on a website in Advanced Web Design class and he had the funny idea to make every page in our site have Comic Sans as the font. Personally I didn't care, since my job was to guide him through the instructions and tell him what to put on our site and how to format. Nearly everyone in our class cried bloody murder. FrostyFireMage
I don't see why people hate Comic Sans. Apart from it looking somewhat childish, that is.

Yeah that's what I mentioned earlier 's why I don't dislike it despite it being hated by a big number of graphic designers It is difficult to work with professionally though, but like I said before I'm also not that good At least it's better than having to work with #880000 god what a nightmare Edited April 23, 2014 by Thor Odinson

Vashiane
... Calm down, it's just a font, guys... While I personally have other fonts I like to use that aren't Comic Sans (Cambria <3), I have no problem with it. Then again, my mother IS a elementary school teachers and Comic Sans seems to be a part of the Official Primary School Teachers' Handbook©. Tamanoir
Mylaw teacher sent us his whole course written in Comic Sans. (something like 30 pages) That's still a great course about a great subject though, so who cares ?
Parrhesia
Two people rated Sans over Neue this requires an explanation, I feel.
Gryz
I guess Comic Neue can be... tolerable. At least the blood vessels in my eyes don't rupture upon viewing. The one font I absolutely cannot stand is papyrus. Ugh. No. TAKE IT AWAY!
Elieson
When I see Streetsigns and Billboards using fucking Algerian I lose my shit I think I caused an accident a while back because I shouted really loudly with my window open at a stoplight, and the guy next to me suddenly hit the gas and hit the guy in front of him. Also I posted in this thread only because Gryz is here
