I wish there was a Raider fan here so I can discuss how they haven't done anything in Free Agency despite their $60 million cap space.

You know. I'm kinda curious about why us Cardinals are focusing all our efforts on Defense right now, sure we lost a few defenders and its nice to have depth, but .. We kinda need a Running Back.

Current needs ordered by priority:

One more O-line men likely RT or RG. We can keep Fluker on the outside and have him beside a Guard and that would be fine. Though I'd rather have Orlando Franklin play Right Tackle due to his footwork being arguably better.

Addressing D-line, we need a NT, since we re-signed DE Ricardo Mathews someone to stop the run up the middle, just a complete mauler. It would fix our defense's problem in stopping the run.

Running Back, Woodhead-Brown-Oliver doesn't look like a very a scary RB tandem, we need an all purpose back. Woodhead is a long 3rd down specialist also niche player. Oliver is a short yardage situation back he can be a starter but is just an average running back, elusive run-only back, his blocking is pretty "ok" too. Donald Brown I don't know what's up with you, we tossed $10 million at you and you didn't do shit. We need an all purpose back or a bruiser to complete our running back tandem. Pretty much summarized as Woodhead being the special back and Oliver as the "speed" back or change of pace back.

Edge Rusher/Run Stuffer some sort of person who can replace both JJ or Dwight Freeney, unless Freeney wants to take a pay cut in re-signing one more year.

Strong Safety, Addae is a big hitter but head first hitter, we need someone to start ahead of him or back up for him, either one works, since the Weddle-Addae tandem is pretty good. Addae is pure playmaker, hasn't had too many of his tackles broken.

WR, preferably a slot receiver, we need a quick small dude who can go up the middle, which will provide Rivers more options to throw to. With Eddie Royal checking out the Chicago Bears and us already re-signing Brandon Flowers, it makes sense.

Kicker, this is an area that likely does not need to be addressed at all, but Nick Novak needs to up his game since he cannot hit a touchback. If the Ravens do not re-sign Justin Tucker maybe we can make a run at him, but I've been pretty happy with Novak's performance. Very accurate at making Field Goals but not the greatest kick offer. I wouldn't mind taking up a slot just for a kick off specialist. But that spot can be used to feel depth issues.

Every one of our offensive starters is now signed through the 2016-17 season. Prepare yourselves, NFC North.

Now if our defense could stop giving me heart attacks, that'd be great

Last time I watched them (vs Panthers in the Wild Card), your special teams was awful too. Especially the punter. xP

That third time didn't even have Le'Veon Bell, dude. And besides, even the best have a bad game or two. Remember Aaron Rodgers vs the Bills? lol yeah.

You say that like the 9-7 Bills were worse than the 4-12 Jets. Oh and we also had the 2nd best defense in the league last year.

Aaron Rodgers didn't merely have a bad game. He got outplayed.

EDIT: Time to evaluate the Bills and see where we stand on FA/needs and wants.

QB: Trade to Vikings for Matt Cassel. Honestly, I really like this trade. He compliments both Shady in the backfield and Greg Roman's offensive style which made even Kaepernick look like a stud. Cassel's been around for a while and even if EJ does win the starting job, Cassel is a great back-up.

Chances are we'll draft a rookie QB in the 6th or 7th round. Personally, I'd love if Tuel gets the boot, we pick up a really cheap FA QB (one nobody is thinking of) and walk into training camp with the first two slots as the shot-caller open for the pickings.

RB: And goodbye CJ Spiller. That was a waste of a first round draft pick. That being said, we just signed Shady McCoy to a respectable deal and it looks like he's pumped up to play in Buffalo. Considering that we'll be pounding the rock a good 40 times a game, expect to see Shady take most of the carries with Fred Jackson and Boobie Dixon playing 3rd down/2nd back options. Boobie will be especially effective on the goal line this season.

WR: Sammy Watkins in his sophomore season and his number 2 receiver is Robert Woods. Young and dangerous for any pair of CBs. Toss in little slants and crosses by Hogan, Goodwin and Gragg and this is a Bills receiving corps that is dangerous at any time. Also, apparently Percy Harvin is thinking about joining up... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

TE: Probably spending our 2nd round pick here. We've needed an upgrade at TE for far too long. I'd love Maxx Williams (reminds me a bit of Gronk) but honestly, we'll need a much more physical blocker playing TE for this team. Charles Clay is another option for us.

OL: Incognito signing was a good start but we lost both the Iupati and Bulaga races. If we sign Clay, this will 100% be our 2nd round draft pick.

Defense: We lost Kiko (trade to PHI), Spikes (still unsigned) and Searcy (TEN). But the Bills managed to keep the scariest front four in the league intact (resigned Jerry Hughes). All we really need is to replace Searcy and we'll be fine on defense, especially with Rex Ryan's defensive scheme.

Long story short, I'm predicting playoff for Buffalo.

The Jets had a good defense too as well as a tough schedule, you know. They just had offensive issues. And you guys act like my team has to win every single game to be considered good. :/

Also, how about the Pats getting stomped by the Chiefs, who later fell to the Steelers? Also, Bell made one of just TWO rushing TDs allowed by the Chiefs all season.

Raven: Ah, hadn't known that. xP

So revis just signed with the jets to nobodies suprise, right now it looks like a 5 year, 70 million contract, but it's also 48 guaranteed in the first three years, so in essence a three year 48 million contract before he goes somewhere else.

Love this for Revis makes a lot of money and no longer is expected to accomplish anything this season due to the team being in a rebuilding phase.

However this was not a good move by the jets, right now it fills a "weakness" that they've already invested in this free agency, but at the same time it makes it virtually impossible to fix the actual problems they had last season.

The o-line is still garbage, the have no quarterback, they got a Brandon Marshall and Erick Decker for recievers just call me when they have somebody who can actually get the ball to them, and they're looking thin at runningback.

Now you can, hopefully, fix the runningback problem in the draft and probably grab a decent tackle in the first, but they have essentially ignored the offense, which is the reason they went 4-12 last year. They've been pouring money into strengthening a defensive unit that was actually pretty good last year and it's not gonna help them win this year or any time soon.

I wouldn't have a problem if a team like GB, Indy or Pitt signed him to this sort of deal but it's just a bad move for a team like the Jets IMO.

Awww, Jason Worilds retired. :( I thought he did pretty decently this season! And they say he's in that part of his career that could be called his prime. Such a bummer. But it's his choice. The team's gonna miss you, Worilds!

Unlike most teams, We were running completely off second and third stringers and one 4th string (see the QB).

Had we been at full effectiveness the Panthers would have been a joke.

lol no. The Panthers defense almost shut your team out. Your offense AND special teams were terrible. Also, this is the same Panthers team that always has CLOSE games with the Seahawks (but loses... DX). The only points you got were off a turnover that can be blamed on Newton and Stewart not being on the same fricken page...

If Carson Palmer had been healthy then I think the Cardinals win that game. That offense ran pretty well with Palmer at the helm, and the lack of depth at QB really just sent this team into a freefall ( especially once Carson did his thing and tore his ACL right after signing an extension, again.)

Having a backup punter certainly hurts special teams, too. Sans injuries, Arizona > Carolina by a decent amount. Hey Ana, what was the Panthers' record going into the postseason again?

I think the Panthers are better than their record says, honestly. The Panthers' issues revolved around Cam Newton going through some weird bullshit for some reason. As soon as he got it together and started actually being accurate with his throws, the team beat pretty much everybody in their path. People thought the Falcons or Saints would win the NFC South, but guess who blew them both the hell out?

The Panthers have a top five defense, a great QB, a great run game, and their receivers are decent enough to get the job done (usually). They've won their division two seasons in a row now. And I think they'll still be contenders next season, especially if Kelvin Benjamin breaks out and burns secondaries like he burned TWO OF THE BEST DEFENSE PLAYERS vs the Seahawks for a 50 YARD RECEPTION. He just needs to get his head together during crucial moments. Those dropped passes, ugh.

The Panthers were actually worse than their record probably- going by DVOA they were 25th (note that at 21st the Cardinals were also probably worse than their record). This in general means that when they lost they were blown out and when they won they won very narrowly. They had a good December (perhaps thanks to a soft schedule in part), but were terrible in October and November. Not to come off as a Panthers hater here, in 2013 they were 3rd in DVOA which meant they were probably legitimately good, but they took a big step back last year even if they were eliminated in the same round.

Yeah, I do admit that the Panthers were weird this season compared to last despite making the playoffs again. But I still think Cam Newton is mostly to blame, his defense gave him so many chances later on to make something happen and he just didn't do it for some reason. Early in the season though, yeah, I do remember now that the defense just didn't look like their 2013 selves for some reason. Even Luke Kuechly got torched by my Steelers. Le'Veon Bell running right past him for 81 yards...lol.

Cam Newton wasn't particularly accurate in that wild card game or some of the later games because he doesn't ever like to set his feet. The reason the Panthers actually got to 7-8-1 was because the Saints and Falcons forgot how football is meant to be played, the Buccaneers probably are doomed to eternal suckitude because they sold their collective soul for a Super Bowl and to draft that ass muffin Warren Sapp, and maybe the Panthers defense stopped giving up like 35 points per game.

The primary reason is because of the Saints and Falcons, I think there were four straight weeks where if either of them won a single game and the Panthers lost a game then they'd be eliminated. If they won two in a row then the Panthers would be kicked from the playoffs.

Yeah, I'm not denying that Cam has always had accuracy issues to some extent. That's his only flaw as a QB imo. Otherwise, he's amazing. He breaks tackles, he can run like crazy, and he has a pretty strong arm. He's pretty good at seeing who's open too. And the guy can practically FLY into the endzone for TDs! He just needs to actually get the ball in his receivers' hands more often.

But I'm saying that his accuracy became a whole new level of rubbish during the middle of the season. >_<

He was probably one of the biggest surprises last year. I doubt he'll have the kind of year he had last year again (RBBC time in Baltimore?) but very few running backs have a career revival at age 29. Guess it helps to run behind a top-5 O-line

Top 5 o-line? The Ravens have a decent o-line, but I wouldn't call it top 5 when it kept getting burned by James Harrison in week 9. lol I think ol' James got to Flacco like five times, three of which led to sacks.

Of course, James Harrison wasn't such an issue for them in the Wild Card game, but he had somebody else blocking him that time, I think (an o-line that isn't top five can still have one good lineman or two). And even then, he still got some pressure.
