Liz
imagine right after Yune returned everyone back to normal. what would sanaki tell her people? "all that was taught to you is a lie" "all of the senators, chosen by the goddess, are now dead" "i am not your apostle" "we shall not honor Ashera as our goddess" "this country isn't a theocracy anymore" she would have to tell this to the biggest batch of fanatic, tradition-obsessed peoples of all of Tellius. Liz
She could...lie. but... would she? Holy Empress- SanakiSanaki elected to guide her people in a world without the goddess, and made treaties uniting the continent. this proves that she was at least honest about the goddess. and how would she explain to her peoples that the senators are gone? would she say that they went on a picnic to Hatari? Allan's Aokage
The Serenes Massacre was a sign to not refer to anywhere when telling the faceless masses that their political leaders have died. As for a different reason... I don't know.
xanatha
It indeed must have been hard to trust her after telling her people about the news (which Psyche Ridell Crimea mentioned). Well, maybe "trust" wasn't the best word, but as we've pointed out in another topic, Empress Sanaki is so young. Anyway, they don't mention it in the game, but in case the other beorc -and laguz rulers backed her up, then the people might have believed her without suspicions. Bram Stoker
Yeah, but would the citizens of Begnion would accept the laguz rulers word? Would their presence would even help at all? Begnion is a country that does have a great bias against laguz.
DragonBladeSniper
Imagine that... and imagine the people burned her thinking that a demonic spirit took over her body... then the new ruler WAS Micaiah then Elincia gets killed by the people of BEgnion due to her speach about the gods... then Micaiah took over Crimea... then she fights the GM... then her army of Daien/Begnion attack the GM/Crimea's Army... then the game starts all over again... Or she just shutted up.

noremaC
wow, i had given that no thought, no wonder she told michiah at the end to rule begnion Edited September 6, 2008 by noremaC
xanatha
Hm, before this topic came up, I always thought Sanaki asked Micaiah to stay in Beginon so that Micaiah could become the new REAL apostle. How stupid of me...
Metal Rabbit
FE12: After that in begnion, citizens who don't believe sanaki rebel against her. Ike can't be the hero this time so someone else has to step up.

DragonBladeSniper
You think there'll be a new FE which are taking place on Tellius, the current rulers?! Wow that would be awesome... for the story thingy. Five years ago, the goddess Ashera attacked the humans but the world was saved by Ike and his for forces saved the continent. (make it longer and way more dramatic) When the citizens of Begnion discover of the death of the goddess Ashera, they rebel against the apostle of Begnion herself! (make it longer and more dramatic and answer a few questions). Ike is no longer in the continent so the rulers of neighbouring countries sent troops to control the situation. The queen of Daien, Micaiah, was horrified of the idea of sending her armies against her sister's people so she sent her son Sothe Jr (yes a VERY dumb name) prince of Daien to make a plan to stop the war without violence. Paper Jam
Pelleas revealed his lack of royal blood, but surely people would ask how he knew he wasn't Ashnard's son. The only way he knew was from the fact that Almedha was a dragon, and he himself was not Branded and therefore couldn't have been her and Ashnard's son. I doubt he could have kept that secret.
