I wanted to see all the fail dialogue again lol K, we'll go for best ending You could make them free alternatively, but the Gaiden requirements are really slack, and Zealot is free (I'm pretty sure he's required for an ilia Gaiden) so that shouldn't be an issue because ive totally forgot to recruit him once I'm a draft and it fucked me over :(lol Save 2 turns, screw over the rest of the game :D. Especially to the likes of Alance, who can be plenty helpful, by just being around. Heck, probably even Shanna, despite not being anywhere as good at combat (she does have some time to raise up, though). I'd consider Dieck over her, even. Irysa Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 (edited) Marcus doesn't consistently ORKO a lot of enemy units early on in the game without using his silver lance, which you kind of don't want to use flippantly. Alance and Thany are by far the easiest and best recipiants of the kills Marcus just can't quite make, so honestly even if its just selfimprovement it's still useful.
