Most probably because the people who answer to those questions the way you do also later on go for stanley parable, so it tries the most commonly thought-of character. I kept answering in ways that would make me think he'd catch on and guess right... but when he DID think to guess a VC character, it was wrong (Alicia Melchiott). Also, I ran into the question, "Is your character known for their Miltank?" not too long ago.
