I shop online a lot since it's often the only way I CAN shop due to lack of a driver's license. I just kinda hope she isn't crushed in shipping... Marth wasn't that bad, but Fox's packaging was worse... Pit came okay though. I'd still keep the Amiibo if the figure itself is fine, but Palutena looks more easily broken than Fox or Marth. That staff and blue halo thing... EDIT: Tsu, of course she will. Amazon themselves are different from their resellers. BrightBow Posted July 16, 2015 Share Posted July 16, 2015 (edited) So, for Code Name S.T.E.A.M., I got myself the Robin and Lucina Amiboo in order to unlock all the characters and... yikes, people weren't kidding about how powerful they are. Especially compared to Marth and Ike. Apparently Califa wasn't overpowered enough and needed a version of her that requires less steam for the same damage. And Lucina... gets basically the same damage output as Marth and for the same steam too, except that Lucina attacks at range and can even attack at an angle. And naturally she can jump too and gets a passive ability that boasts both attack and defense of the whole team because why the heck not? Although I am not sure if those ridiculous abilities work out in their favour. Marth and Ike both have useful abilities if one is clever in how to use them. Compared to that, Lucina and Robin feel downright boring since they just annihilate everything from a save distance. And Robin is mostly just a buffed Califa anyway. Edit: Nevermind. Overpowered as she may be, Lucina's combination of the dash, jumping and long range splash attacks allows all kinds of crazy and fun moves. But Robin is nothing special. Fun fact: It's possible to hear the Fire Emblem themes in CN STEAM without having all the Amiibos. The themes will play as long as only Fire Emblem characters are deployed. So technically it doesn't actually matter how many. It's just that later in the game, you always have to deploy four characters. But early one before Lion and Tiger Lily are recruited, it's possible to deploy less then four characters and therefore the themes can be heard with just 2-3 Amiibos. The exception is the alternate title theme. This one will unfortunately only play if all four are present on the title screen. Am terrible at Codename S.T.E.A.M, (the escort mission with Victoria is a PAIN), but deployed just FE amiibos and heard "Showdown" (which has an awesome remix of FE Gaiden's battle theme btw), "Premonition", and "Chance Encounter" Edited July 17, 2015 by Bullwine85 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
