BBM
I think Marty said that he's skipping the Tyrfing. It doesn't do as much as Hero Sword criticals considering how bad Celice's stats are.
Mekkah
The epilogue sleep staves do look pretty scary. I assume Sety doesn't have enough mag/time to put them out of commission with his own status staves?
General Horace
fee + other units you warp ahead there (I assume Leaf doesn't need the warp staff) can probably tank them for you, I imagine, although there are quite a lot of them.

Yojinbo
How many of your units are even alive at that point? Warping expendable units to take the hits sounds like the most reliable plan but since you leave a lot of units unrecruited and some sacrifices will happen on the way [i assume] I don't know if you'll have enough units left to pull that one off. momogeek2141
They're tied to Barhara, correct? Or Velthomer? If neither then Marty can just plow through the Barons and seize without dealing with them, but I doubt that will work. But I'm pretty sure he only needs one turn of bait before Leaf rescues them from their clutches!
MartyTheDemonSlayer
I'm not seizing velthomer at all so it doesn't matter. I think I can work it out so that only one person gets put to sleep a turn which I can easily restore around... Although Leif Layla and Shanan might not survive the war. Baldrick
If Shanan dies again, what would you do about Areone? Seize Barhara before he reaches the base?
General Horace
are you just killing Julius with the berserk/hel combo?
momogeek2141
He said he's not recruiting Sharlow. What's your Julius Strat in that case?
General Horace
Fee still comes with the berserk sword, that should work.
MartyTheDemonSlayer
yeah, I'm using the berserk sword, but getting someone close enough to use it will probably take a sacrifice.
General Horace
if fee isn't busy, she can run in and hit the dude, and return ring home she's not really doing anything past that point, but it's an option I guess.
MartyTheDemonSlayer
I mean, as you already know I don't really mind deaths. Maybe I'll give roddlebad a chance to shine. Edit fee would be the best so I don't have to waste a rescue use. Edited February 5, 2015 by MartyTheDemonSlayer
General Horace
DA RODDELI don't know how you'd get him past Ishtar's goons, but it'd be hilarious.
MartyTheDemonSlayer
I can rescue him across the ridge beneath Barhara. If it turns out that Leif has a free action I'll have him do it. Edited February 5, 2015 by MartyTheDemonSlayer
Ownagepuffs
Oh my god I'm so hype to see these strats. I can already taste the RIPs. Edited February 5, 2015 by Ownagepuffs
MartyTheDemonSlayer
I may or may not start uploading chapter 6 tomorrow. But yeah, generation 2 is less about characters and more about items, since FE4 has the most ridiculously powerful items in the series. The fact that promoted Celice with under 10 in most stats is the primary boss killer of generation is proof enough.
BBM
is it too early to submit Hero Sword as my #1 item choice (not counting Rescue) for Gen 2? Edited February 5, 2015 by BBM
MartyTheDemonSlayer
Haha the challenge might have to be tweaked slightly. I'm not sure if either of the rankings will be that great, since the Hero Sword obviously wins best item and the Hel dark warlord obviously wins best unit (omg look at those base stats. Also, who else, even with growths, can deal 79 damage to Julius with one hit? What a baller.)
Mekkah
Just noticed this in the OP: The only pairings are Azel x Aideen for the rescue staff and Levin x Claude for an earlier rescue staff in the second generation. Who needs Fury when you can just make a yaoi pairing and get a kid with Holsety and Rescue?
momogeek2141
In that case we better marry him off to Sigurd so that Celice doesn't suck so much!
MartyTheDemonSlayer
Oh my god... with Levin's better genes, Celice might start off with 25 HP and 7 base speed! EEK
