Respite&Nepenthe
LARPing (live action role-playing) is where many people, generally costumed with fake armor and wielding fake weapons, take on the role, of someone character and duel with others. It's the most amazing, dorky thing ever, and I want to know if anyone else does it!
Raven
I've never even cosplayed, so I can't say I've ever LARPed, either.
Dragoncat
I was going to. There's a larp group where I live, but they're hard to get ahold of.
Snowy_One
No. Never done it. I don't think there is even a group where I live. Not to mention a complete lack of materials.
Elieson
I've done it a handful of times, and performed surprisingly well considering my complete lack of experience. It's exactly what you'd expect, people swinging superfoam weaponry at eachother. Only, people hold back less, since they aren't like blades or anything, so it can kinda hurt. fun/
Loki Laufeyson
Combat LARP, ive done. Which is just more or less sparring in cool clothes with swords and junk. Full-on LARP? Nah...im not sure about that. Plus, there wasnt a group for it.
