At least that's a bigger list than me! I can only stand Barst (because he's the best fighter I have ever laid my eyes on), Gonzo (he took me by surprise. Max strength and speed) and Ross because he can be a very good berserker, but takes a lot of training. At least there's the Tower of Valni. The rest I just can't use. They're use so... bad. He can't hit for shit, so he cant get any levels. Ross always is slow as f**k in my runs, so no (even if characters don't need growths in FE8). Yeah, axes are some of the worst shit ever made in Binding Blade and top that up with low skill axe users and you get fighters who can hit hard, double constantly but can't touch the enemy. That's why I used a killer axe on Gonzo and his crit rate skyrocketed, sometimes even being higher than his hit rate. Tbh, he is the best Armads, imo. As for Ross, well it's been a long time since I played through the latter of Sacred Stones. I just remember him being good, but acking in speed and defense a bit. New strategy: avoid killing people to keep the list long (so we can do triple hurts) until everyone gets really low and a few posts can finish off all of the ones we don't like.
